i'd find out how much for the glass and how much to get it mae first, you may find the difference is not too much in which case I'd get it made. if you are going to build yourself avoid older glass as it does not cut as easily and tends to be more brittle. personally for a tank that size and being your first time I'd get someone else to make it unless you are seriously confident, have all the equipment already and enough work space to do it slowly.

very hard to over skim a tank, although I have noticed if you go too much bigger people get lazy then forget to empty their cups have not heard too much about aqua one skimmers thogh

how to be a mega troll.... Find 3-5 extra participants. choose a target. at random points during the day wander past said target and make small comments such as: 1: you are in a coma 2:wake up, you are in a coma 3: I wish you would wake up 4: wake up after making said comment continue on your way ignoring the fact you have said anything. you get double points for inserting a comment into a conversation without acting like it was meant to be there. btw any one else ever see eXistenZ???? the movie?? thats a mind blower

last time I went to a band that "rocked out" I ended up under the mosh pit with a broken elbow, collar bone and unconcious.... and that was "scribe" yay......... AC/DC was better, saw a few of the good ones when I was working as a Music reporter the main problem with dragon was they played their set at around 1am, and all the REAL fans had enjoyed their one night out per year a bit too much by then.... I loved it though and thats all that matters. and thats what makes a good night out.
