  1. A good place to collect NSW from in Tauranga is at sulphur point if you wanna try NSW

The 2 main species are percula and occelaris the variety of each are: oceallaris: normal orange black snowflake (hard to find) Percula: normal Picasso (fancy) im breeding right now, hard to find onyx then there's clarkii, tomato, maroon, skunks and other species Ive breed normal orange ocellaris, but lost my breeding pair, and am waiting on my pair to breed. Im breeding black oceallaris and picasso perculas right now. and just relised you are in Tauranga too, pm me if you want to check them out

  4. Tanks by far look more natural with bb, but we have found since having barebottom, that it is much easier to clean the deterious and crap that gets stuck on the bottom and breaks down. When you have a sand bed you dont see that stuff.

  6. Well, chromis have laid on the side glass now, next to the firefish's homes, agro chromis + firefish isnt too good, but they are handling it Got a nice green gonipora from wonderworld yesterday and a random pic of the yellow polyps that arent dying anymore
  7. Nope just going slow adding the fish, tank has been set up just over a month (sumps has had live rock for 2 years though) Plan to add more fish, but enjoying the lower bio load atm, less agression etc
  8. No idea where to get coral rocks. If you have live rock, maybe 3 weeks until corals...?

After loosing all but 4 fish to a parasite in our 4ft tank and pulling it down, we have set it back up with the old corals and rock into a 1500l x 800w x 600h tank Lighting atm is 2 double sunlight t5's and a 109w LED unit. Mainly after growth atm pump is a wp-40 wave maker Skimmer is Deltec Ap-701, aswell as a NP bio pelltet reactor 5ft main sump with a refugium with small deepsand bed. Other end of sump has a deepsand bed and frags and corals on rocks. other part of system is a 3ft 180l frag tank. both coral tanks running 15ow halides. same sump/frag tank system as before, just double the display Stock list is: 2 of our own bred Ocellaris Clownfish 1 juvenile Desjardini sailfin tang 1 Red firefish 1 purple firefish 3 chromis 1 fireshrimp 1 40cm RBTA now some pics, fts pics are pretty bad sorry
  10. most cases they wont jump if they are happy, something has to be disturbing them to make them jump imo

  14. I will have them for a while as im still raising new ones all the time. I come up every 2 or 3 months but have friends that go up too
  15. I'm going up to auckland on saturday the 7th of decemeber, so if anyone wants some clownfish, i can drop off, i have lots of bigger mis-bars and some smaller full bars if anyone wants any... $35 each

  18. havnt posted any updates in a while, so, heres some pics not much has changed, no more fish been added actually thinking of removing the scopas and sixline wrasse (if i could catch them out) recently ive added, frogspawn, hammers and grape corals, more zoas, a monti, a cactus and a kenya tree coral FTS: the big spagehetii: mandy still thriving after a year and a half new zoa garden i made gorgonian that's growing like crazy small hammers grape with big hammer and frogspawn behind grape coral grumpy scopas kolen with scars from grumpy scopas kenya tree
