2.8 ghz intel celeron 1 gig ram its not super slow just i think its should be alot faster as its got better specs than my pc and my pcs so quick should i download and reinstall win xp?

ok so i have got it going now the guy i bought it off came over and helped me needed a new wifi adaptor.i have another qeustion now the laptop has pretty good specs so should be fast like my pc it even has better specs than my pc actually.its 2.8ghz 1 gb ram 40 gb harddrive but runs slow as and internets slow aswell anyhelp would be much appreciated thanks

laptops a compac presario 2500 and the usb wifi adaptor is edup usb 802.11 gb i cant find a button to broadcast it as its usually always on wifi as my ipod touch picks it up i have the vodafone broadband complete modem

just bought a laptop and came with a wifi adaptor and ive got a vodafone modem router thing and i can get wifi through my ipod but when i set up with the laptop adapter its saying no networks are available can anyone help me

but why cull the fish if there are people out there willing to have the fish even if there intentions arent for breeding alot of people just want nice looking fish.i fully understand the culling with some species but not others

i have found them not to be that aggresive they just like fish that can fit in their mouths i had them with angels swordtails kribensis then moved them in with cihlids and they were fine they dont really do much chasing mine got to about 25cm

just did 30% water change and im on rain water so its very handy and cheap to do changes for me plus alot safer for fish.there breathing has slowed down and looking alot better cheers mark

ammonia was basically yellow so at about 0.5 so its definetly the nitrites so do i just water change and add salt?dont think my tanks overstocked has always been healthy till i got whitespot for the first time then had this spike

have just tested and have nitries in my tank not overly high but is still in there will be moving some fish out to let filter recover had some whitespot and i think thats what spiked it any advise on how to get rid of please

i have had one mate personally my fav fish grew quite big and loved live feeders get one they rae awesome

i know about the infertility of them but have read on some sites that they have succesfully hatched but need really high temps and lots of aeration i think a 10 litre tank would need 200lh aeration or something but have now sold the group for 230 anyways so onto next breeding project.

ok but im not the one laughing at that am i.we all know that the quality of fish in nz is very limited and we all know that some of the amazing fish are not allowed in for good reason we all understand that and i think its very wrong if any fish got into our waterways that could upset the balance of the eco system.you maybe a serious fishkepper along with many others but whos to say i am not.im not stating nor will i ever that it is ok to accept illegal stuff all i am saying is that rules are broken and at the end of the day its the persons choice to take that risk.i dont think it really even needed this much hoohah over a plant personally but if no one has better things to do then critise people rather than help them which i have witnessed contsantly on here no ones willing to help they just give there 2 cents worth and thats it no real willingness to help i eman we all started and needed help so why not give it in return.people on here.education is always best.anyways just take advise lighten up and give advise :happy1: :happy1:

yes i understand the harm to be done to the enviroment with such things but would it really affect our waterways how much research have maf done on this? to be honest i dont want the stuff nor care for illegal stuff maf do a good job sometimes but everyone getting up and arms about abit of moss i mean its not like any of us are intentionally going and releasing things in our waterways i know nobody here would do it.i never said that it was ok to break rules just saying there going to get broken and people should just lighten up abit you know like maybe RELAX :sml2:

the easiest way is to always buy quailty fish from breeders not shops generally cheaper and healthier too

im aware of the bracing mate.i had jackp tell em it was ok when he visited and i showed him how i was doing it and hes a builder so will stick with his knowledge plus i am a glazier so understand fully about glass cheers theres no bending as its 4x2 with 50mm mdf sheet for base

just reflections as my tank gets quite abit of sunlight im not a very good painter aswell haha and there is legs right at the back its braced inside and outside with four 4x2s they are spaced 60 cm apart back to front and left to right is 90 cm its super sturdy and i have stood on it and jumped up and down alot to see if any movement wouldnt even budge
