Hi there I going to take my juwel bioflow mini filter out of my juwel tank as it only pumps 280 litres pure hour I am going to put In a fluval plus 2 filter as that puts out 400 litre an hour. So putting the fluval In do I leave the bioflow mini In the tank for 1 month for the fluval to get healthy bacteria thanks.

Hi guys sorry couldn't make It last night I have had the flu since the weekend pretty gutted couldn't make it to pay my membership and see all you members last night well guess have to wait till december .

Yes bottle of start smart is the way to go what windsparrow said but make sure keep testing your water for amonia just in case.

so you have problems with animates down there. I heard that the howick branch lost all there stock short time ago because of some disease. Some one told me that they only use one filter to run all there tanks.

Hi guys you know the juwel bio mini filter and the fluval plus 2 filter . You reckon fluval is much better than the juwel bio flow mini.

Is that the 4 foot tanks you mean for the heaters I think for those big tanks I heard some people have 2 heaters and 2 filters. How many litres Is that big tank.

first tank has 12 neons 11 glowlights 3 honey dwarf gouarmi second tank 10 blood fin tetras 11 lemon tetras Guys I do my water changes once a week taking 20 litres out each tank.

Hi guys I have one fluval plus 2 filter system in one juwel tank and the other juwel tank has the standard juwel bioflow mini so having 25 community fish in each tank that's 60 litres is ok with just that filter in each one. I ask the lfs and they said that's perfect but I went on this aquatic website and It said I should have extra filter In each one. So what you guys think. :lol:

I agree with Dennis Is well you should go for that one I was told you would need at lest 30 embers cause they so small so that will look great with the gourami . PS a you getting the honey dwarf gouramis.

thanks for that I buried the plants deeper into the gravel to make it more real instead of just sitting above the gravel should of done it before took the pictures. :lol:

Gees just feed fish in both tanks and in the old tank one of my neons got a white puffy thing on side of his mouth and thins look a bit tatted so putting melafix in fixes the problem

Yer I know thought about it and went for aqua one silk plants in the end less fuss that way. But later may change it to real plants .

yes I gave them to a great home. You know having embers you got to have at least 30 of them so I thought no thanks I love my lemons and bloods more. I will get photo on soon when i feed them .

Well guys I gave my embers and harlequins a new home so I can add 5 more lemon tetras and 5 blood fins which i just done It looks lot better with 11 lemons ,11 blood fins .

yer might have to get a big juwel 300 litre ha ha. I quite like having to tanks in the lounge It has a nice affect .

1st tank has 13 neon tetras , 11 glow light tetras, 3 honey dwarf gouamies, 2 male guppies. 2nd tank has 6 harlequins, 6 blood fins, 6 lemon tetras , 5 ember tetras .
