I got glowlights in the other tank they cool is well but can't really have in both tanks .

yer i see what you mean there i just letting it recover now and settle down i was told takes a month to settle but just wonder if the one lemon tetra can school with the blood fins as the 10 blood fins a ok in the tank. The ammonia is sweet it's 0 the kh is sweet and nitrite and nitrates.

I do a 20 litre water change once a week in my 60 litre tank Josh. Think i should have left it to build up the bacteria.

No worries Josh when you reckon do a water change i did one on saturday . how long you reckon before putting 5 schooling fish in will the lemon tetra be fine on his own for a while with 10 blood fins you reckon.

oh true I couldn't put back the juwel bioflow mini cause it was dry but the fluval been running since thursday last week . The lfs said yesterday putting 5 x ray tetras in next weekend what you think. The last lemon is still alive with the 10 blood fins you think he be ok on his own with the blood fins.

Ok the zebra stronger than the leopard

Hi I was at the lfs yesterday and they were suggesting me to get some danios what you guys think of them I had a look not really keen on the zebras but the leopards look ok .

Hi guys well don't know what happen been testing the water all weekend in that tank and everything is spot on went to hwf albany and they checked the water is well yesterday and all good I told them about the lemons and they said it was just a freak thing that happen could of been something wrong with the lemons so the said come next weekend and get some different fish like some x ray tetras and zebra danios what you guys think of zebra danios .

Yes the lfs showed me the water results . the lfs ask me how far down the filter was I told them and said that's to low. I rang a person last night is well and told him I had my fluval filter just above the gravel and he told me it should be up by the water level is well so now that i raised the filter up to the water level I can see the oxygen bubbles shooting cross the water so that's got to be a good thing now and plus i will let this filter settle for a while before adding fish.

How long should I leave the juwel filter In there for.

I might of done that by mistake obstacle I did feed them last night.

No It's not the amonia is 0 and nitrates It's just my ph Is 8 I was told at the lfs Is was to do with lake of oxygen. I live in New windsor

Yes It's been out since last night but I have not rinsed It though. gees this is the first time I have stuffed it Up like this.

That's what I did David I took the juwel bioflow mini filter out and put In a fluval plus 2 filter . Just lost another lemon too.

Hi David the tetras been in there for 3 weeks and set the tank up 6 weeks ago but what I did Is put a new fluval plus 2 filter In last night and was told that may of killed them lake of oxygen with change of filter but what I did David I took one old sponge sponge of the oher filter and put it in the new one .

Hi Caryl I lost a lemon tetra this morning and I went to lfs and took some water sample In they said everything Is ok accept the ph was 8 not 7 anyway I was out today and came home and 6 more were dead and they said It was due to lack of oxygen so I was told to raise up the fluval plus 2 filter spout half out and half in the water to give more oxygen and have the water flow on high.

my ph is 8 my temp is always 26 degree I do water change once a week taking 20 litres out each tank and i put 5 ml api conditioner and 5 ml cycle. I have 20 tetras in there but what i did was put my new fluval plus 2 filter in i took one media sponge from my other thank and put in the new filter . I just been to fish shop he told me have the fluval plus 2 filter blower half out and half in the water on hi as it gives more oxigen is that a good idea. Ps just lost 6 lemon tetras.

Hi just had a ph problem cause maybe not enough water conditioner hey one shop said get a ph down adjuster but just been to another shop and they said just put more conditioner in instead of ph level . I just lost one lemon tetra .

I'm more happy with it like that thinking getting more plants Is well. But It looks better with the ordiments buried a bit .

I don't mind running both together for as long as It take cause the juwel is different than fluval. One other thing you guys reckon the fluval is better than the bioflow mini.
