Hi guys just want to know a bit more about pupuki Aquarium over the shore as I not visit there. whats there prices like for tetras a they same price as hollywood and do they sell them like 5 for $16 or what ever cheers guys

Hi everyone my plans for the tank when it's fully cycled is have 10 blood fin tetras 10 lemon tetras 10 x ray tetras guys can I have that many in my tank or those tetras grow bit to big.I want the tetras in descent schooling groups I will slowly build it up to that number I running a fluval plus 2 filter in the tank.

Guys this is an idea why not flea powder the carpet through the house that be safe for our fish wouldn't it . I am worried now since I have my two juwel tanks in the lounge I wont even use fly spray now my Mrs ask me to buy fly spray at Pak n save but then I put it back on the shelf thinking of my fish. Guys do you use fly spray at home even with the lid on the tank cause the lid has a cap for the heater and filter chord behind

Well guys I got into this hobby 8 months ago not knowing nothing my wife and i thought lets get a fish tank for our daughter so we went into pet stop talk to the shop assistant told him want a little tropical tank for our 2 year old so after talking we got the 20 litre blue planet tank then he said get some harlequins and Neons so we got those two types of fish and guess what he said we needed a algae so they sold us a pleco with a 20 litre tank when a pleco grows 60 cm + long now they get real huge. I ring Hollywood and I said had a Pleco in my 60 litre tank they said oh that's to big for your tank because they produce lots of waste which i notice when I gravel clean both tanks. I ring bird barn yesterday and they said yes bring your pleco in and we will swap or give you credit so I got to bird barn and they put the pleco in a nice big tank and he was happy as can be . I made my way to Hollywood Mt Roskill and ask the great staff for a bristle nose instead the yellow one. You know what everyone I wish I knew about Hollywood fish farm when I started this hobby would of save me so much bother in the beginning so I only go to them for help and this federation web site. I would like to thank the guys at Hollywood Mt Roskill and Albany and also this great web site for helping me when I need it as I still learning about the hobby and there will be always something to learn.

Hi Ismart yes that be cool to have in my bedroom one of those juwel tanks with cichlid. The other tank is doing real well now no more problems

You know since I raised my fluval filter up to the water level so it's rippling cross the water it's so relaxing it makes me full a sleep on the couch I need a fish tank in my bedroom.

Hi everyone well after loosing the 9 lemon tetras Friday week ago everything is back to normal have not lost any more fish and the water test has been normal. I will leave it another two weeks the add 5 lemon tetras back in to join that lonely lemon tetra.

There is one thing cyclist do is breaking the law by riding through red lights all the time and break other rules . They should be given a fine like motorist. the other day i was driving through royal oak and a cyclist was been complete idiod on the road swerving in and out of cars not even looking then ride straight through a crossing while people crossing, jumping on foot paths then back on the road in front of cars all the to mt Roskill..

See another cyclist killed by a car door open in front of her then fell under the truck on Tamaki drive this afternoon gees .

Yes Ryan i agree i been applying for real low class jobs even went for interview and nzts in Kingsland as a laundry assistant but they will not call me till next week.

yes Ryan that's what my wife and i did yesterday and then we asked what to do they said get a job then i said well that's what i doing but with so many people unemployed it's like winning the lotto to get a job . Wonder if national will win next year but i have seen we no better of feels like things getting worse that ever.

Has anyone had bad experience with work and income i have. I got laid of from my job i been working over 10 years got the benefit not even two months and they cut my benefit of cause they reckon i turn a job down , yes that true i had a call from a recruitment agent at 4pm and ask would you like to work in Henderson next morning starting at 6 to 4-30 driving forkhoist paying 12.75 an hour for 4 days work i explain i cant cause have some job interviews to attend then the agent said that's ok we understand then the agent ring work n income and said i didn't want the job. i get a letter on Saturday saying we have canceled your benefit for 3 months then i said well i had interviews to go to for full time work and they said to bad should of canceled your interviews but hang on ain't they wanting us to get a full time job. So what you guys think about that .

I gave up riding 5 years ago it's just to dangerous in Auckland i feel safer in my car having more protection. Motorist just don't look plus i still see motorist still texing on ther cellphones

Thanks for that yes i leaving it for now for the filter to do its job. The good news is the tank is doing great everything is normal .
