They're too small. Really stunted from the small tank. They should start growing better now, and getting some decap brine shrimp so...

Sometimes I think the workers aren't even that clued up. Talked to a girl who had to sort out the fish section. All the bettas got killed because they put them with fin nippers...

Alright p44. My general observation is that more uninformed people will go to animates then specialised aquarium stores is based on a few things -Animates has more outlets then the other specialised aquarium stores -Animates has more people enter the store doors because it stocks more then just aquarium items and livestock. -Animates has more advertising e.g. radio and tv I'm sure that a lot of people will get their first tanks from there. Animates sells a lot of starter kits iirc. I hadn't been to HFF till after I joined the forums and found out it was a good store.

Not saying that hardcore fish people don't go there. I'm saying that uninformed people mainly shop at animates. Hell, when I was new to fish keeping I went to animates and bought all my fish there. Knew hardly anything about the fish I bought. If I thought pacus would only grow to say, 6'', then I'd get one.

I forgot my :lol: face Animates is where most non hardcore fish people get fish. Bigger market of uninformed people
