  1. Like p44, firenzenz and I for your clowns
  2. I've never had electric blue, but when I had bolivian rams they loved the crisps. I would imagine your rams would also like the granules?
  3. Were the fish slowly added or all at once?
  4. I have a small tank with guppies. They almost reproduce quicker then I can catch them
  5. I'll have a look 1t 13mm tomorrow when I go back
  6. I've bought "19mm barbed irrigation elbows" There was none that were non threaded or barbed which is what I was hoping for. 13mm would be much easier to drill then 19mm right?
  7. Priced 75x50. Cheapest is $3 at miter 10 but I'll take the quote to bunnings and they'll beat it by 15%, I think. Ryan, Did you used a double barbed fitting or was one side threaded for your water change system? Thanks
  8. Its just because the stand is exactly 6ft long and my rooms only 6ft wide after the wall.
  9. Wow. I was thinking there might be something going on like that. Sucks though because if we use 2x4 I have to get rid of the stand my dad made me as it will no longer fit :-?
  10. We priced 2x4 at only around $3.30 a meter, now we are finding 2x3 for about $7.73 a meter. Budget has been blow
  11. Now I have an excuse to go to your place
  12. The tanks I am drilling cost me 87 cents each. So I'm happy to try  Lay them on their side and drill from the inside? Worth a try. If I use a block of wood as a guide, how will I keep the drilling bit wet?
  13. Drilling all the tanks I have. Will the proper fittings cost a hell of a lot more? Tanks are all pre made so nothing I can do about putting them on a surface
  14. I also thought about that. I'm sure my dad can supply me with a clamp or two
  15. I've looked online at how to do it haha. Planned on doing them all outside with the hose like some of the vids I saw. Yeah, It'll be a hori job. But I think I might do the holes on the side to give full view pleasure of the tank  Heading down to bunnings (again) to buy the fittings haha
  16. I plan on drilling holes to fit a 19mm irrigation fitting in. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Building-renov ... 845602.htm Will that 20mm drill bit do the job? Thanks
