Remeber all the pet shops get the fish from the same importers

Movie was awesome. Was all done as if the characters had the cameras.
-
Almost got hassled at the pub last night for not drinking or smoking
Cant even escape it when you hang out with 20 year olds.
Off to see that movie Chronicles or something. One about some guys with freaky mind powers?
-
I always stuck by my guns when it came to who I was at college. People were like "pfft weirdo listens to metal", "why would you ride a stupid road bike?", "Fish are stupid", "Why doesn't he drink? He so isn't cool". I made a lot of friends over the 5 years and I only see two of them regularly now that school is over for me. One is my neighbor and the other is one of my best friends. Throughout school I left my main social group for another as as the old group fell apart they came crawling back to me. Be like SamH and myself, Alphas 8)
:rotf:
But seriously. Cricketman is correct. Some of my old school mates are struggling to get into uni and get jobs, me on the other hand scored myself trainee manager at my work

It was kinda spicy!
Stupid new timeline on Facebook

I've always just washed it then put it in the tank.

was that KK Malaysian at the corner of Greenlane and Manukau Rd? If so tell me all about it, I am planning to go there for lunch soon.
It was awesome. We had KK special pork, lemon chicken and friaejofsadmklafijnoeamkcfdas beef. The beef looked like sloppy dog poo but tasted awesome.
We all picked a meal and shared. So it was all good.

Had an awesome dinner at some Malaysian restaurant and saw Chloe walking her adorable little doggie

I wouldn't know what to write :dunno:

David gave me like 60l of RODI water plus I still have like 16kg of red sea salt left so as soon as I see any signs of anything I'll be ready
-
Moved everything submerged
Plan on checking water quality daily. Master test kit ftw

Its been running two days.
All the rock is cycled from Davids tank and I'll be getting my skimmer asap. I'm sure it will all be fine.

My soft corals. Green polyp?
What is this thing? Shall I kill it with fire?
Also found something that looks like this Pokemon
Couldn't get a good picture

Are the rocks in there already live?
Yeah. The purply rocks were in David R's tank and the others have been in his sump/cooking for ages
-
Getting more rock tomorrow so hopefully can pile it higher :nilly:
-
I was planning on getting a skimmer through work so aqua one was a good choice as I have access to the suppliers.
239 sounds pretty good anyway though
-
I was going to use the internal for water flow+bio chem zorb+mechanical and the external is because I was told to use it by one of my colleagues who has done marine at home and used to work in our store when we sold marines.
Protein skimmer sounds good. Was planning on getting one at some stage. What does everybody think of the aqua one ones?
-
Why use the filters? I have a Juwel tank as marine and ripped out the built in filter. Running a Deltec HOB skimmer instead.
Is what I was advised to do.
Whats one of those worth?
I wondered what happened to that tank. Good call, welcome to the darksideBeen sitting around too long and I was going to do a small marine but got talked into a bigger one
-
Davids black clowns. Purple Firefish. Hopefully some nice shrimp. Copperband butterfly. Maybe a dragonet?
-
So after seeing David R's marine tank I decided to set up my own.
I've decided to use my Juwel Vision 180. I'm going to use Red Sea salt, Ehiem heater, Marine white and blue light tubes, the Juwel filter plus an external filter.
Dad has made me an awesome stand which I plan on painting today. I'm not old enough to buy spray paint so mummy has to get it for me :rotf:
Pictures to come

When did Mt Roskill Animates do away with their big saltwater display? We visited in November and it was not there, and were really disapointed. In fact they no longer had saltwater stock. I do prefer the Jansen's days.
We like visiting both HFF's and Pupuke Aquarium.
Over 5 years ago I believe
