  1. I use to breed pandas. What I did was setup a small tank (20-30ltr) and then put a sponge filter and a heater set to about 25-26C. I made about 2-3 good thick brown spawning mops (about 200 strands each). I put the mops at one end and the heater and filter down the other. introduce your pandas I used 6 (turned out to be 3 males 3 females). feed blood worms flake algae tablets and mine breed about 24 hours after I did a cold water change.

    How old were the pandas? I'm keen to breed any form of cory, preferibly one thats cheap and breeds at a young age

  2. ^^ Fighters would be mine xD

    I saw that "Tank of Doom" when browsing latest auctions. When i saw it on cool auctions i was kinda annoyed, seeing as people will buy it because its in the cool auctions and i cant pick up a tank for next to nothing -.- lol

    My Kuhlis havent been seen in the last few weeks. I got them in a tank with a thin substrate that they can dig into -.-

  3. Do you live in Wellington by any chance? I have a CT male that I'd be willing to rehome.

    I live in Auckland haha. Thank anyway =D

    Unfortunatly, my male CT fighter passed away in the night.... Two male deaths since sunday=i'll breed angels =/

    Water is all good, fish had no sign of deteriation, i had my fish girl over yesterday who said he looked good health wise. Maybe he just didnt like the decorations in the tank ^^

    I'll make sure i purchase a 2-3 and have a proper cycled divided tank by then =]

    The plant pot has peat and gravel, with plants that didnt stay in after i dropped the water level haha. There is a hollow fake log at the back corner. I couldnt find polystyrene so i used a yoghurt lid(white) and that other blue lid, hopefully he makes a nest under one of them. The female is in a 1.5l bottle with the lid cut off and some slits/holes for waterness.

    This is my new male, red blue and white CT. The photo isn't the best

    I'm going to leave them like this till saturday when i can release and watch the female all day.

    Should i feed these two blood worms over the next few days?

    Do i use methalane blue on the eggs even with the male?

    Thanks =D
