I was a bit bored today and I thought it would be a good idea to put all the pictures of the aulonocara together that I have had through this 10 years keeping african cichlids and this is the result lol!!! I was really surprised of the number of species. Cheers, Miguel

only breeding groups of Jacobfreibergies, dragon blood and kandeense, the other males are currently single :rolfl: !!! but keeping my hopes :thup: . I have them distributed in that way so the Lwanda doesnt hybrize with the jacobs and neither the dragon blood with the firefish.

hi mate, no I dont have them all in the same tank that would be crazy specially because I dont want hybrids and neither that they kill each other lol!!! for start I have them distributed in this way. Tank #1 1.- Rubescens 2.- OB 3.- Kandeense (juvies) 4.- Jacofreibergi (#2) 5.- Dragon blood Tank #2 1.- Dragon blood 2.- Lwanda Tank #3 1.- Jacobfreibergi (#1) 2.- Dragon blood 3.- Firefish Tank #4 1.- Eureka albino 2.- Kandeense (juvies) in general they tolerate each other fine without mayor drama and they have other cichlids in the same tanks that reduce the aggression to the minimal. What normally keeps me taking pictures of my fish over and over, is the hope to take a picture that leave me breathless for the angle, light, exposition etc... and every once in a while there is one picture or two that make it!!! and when that happens I like to share them... so here you have a really nice picture of my juvenile/adult Aulonocara jacobfreibergi otter point... I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Cheers
