  1. yea got the grey one. wanted the black but noone could find the base
  2. i'm looking at doing the led strip and maybe one for moonlight too.
  3. it was advertised in the store and i had been wanting one for a while. but one word of advice the lighting currently on there isn,t the best fir viewing. it is a orangey halogen light set up that doesn't reach all courners of the tank but is a mean center peice
  4. bout $300 i think. though i got mine from animates for $70 cuz they hadn,t been able to sell any so put the price down. i thin they still have an orange one and black one cheap down here.

  8. yea be carefull about them crawling out. they do survive for a few days but after that they start to smell. i check mine m ost days as sometimes they can get out of the gap under my intake hose
  9. bunnings had 20w but not 10. and the led ones on ebay look ok. got to look at small led strips
  10. yea that will cost more just buying the part. if i can't get it from bunnings or what ever then rather upgrade
  11. ok so i have just been looking for a replacement bulb for my fluval ede but can't seem to find them any where. I have been thinking about making a diy light fixture to replace the original as the current lighting doesn't seem to be very pplant friendly. maybe a cheapish LED set up. something about 70x45x30mm to fit under the lid. here's a link to show you what it looks like. http://www.hagen.com/uk/aquatic/addinfo ... scover.cfm or if anyone has any lights they want to sell that will fit in there would be sweet. the current lighting is 2 sheilded type lamps GU-4 12V 10W thanks guys James
  12. k. my pandas don,t come out anymore. they used to when they were in a smaller tank with the same fish but only see them after lights out now

  14. aslong as the water isn,t to basic then yea should be fine
  15. silver and marble ones are normal sizes
  16. any pigmy ones though? i'm looking for fish that will go well in a small peruvian biotope
  17. also while i'm at it any ideas for a small 23L peruvian biotope? fish and plants. got some blake widow tetras atm but will prob go into my com. tank when they grow bigger.

  19. yea their great. those last ones i cave you were about 3months old and the first ones will be about a month younger
  20. mine never had the balls.... maybe thats why he ran away from home
