  4. yes its true, we are selling after 31years , its going to be hard to say good by to all out great customers but its time for a change, we have someone looking at the business and if he buys it he will do well in the shop, he has alot of knowledge and i know he will just fit into our shop, if he does buy it take over date isn't until 1st April (its no April fulls day joke :lol: ). i will let you know more when i know more.

  6. thats great , i have found if the male is good ots best to leave the babies with him, if you are wanting to rase some by habd when they leave the nest take some not all of them and see who does the better job, remember to keep up the water changes (thats the key ) and feed lots .
  7. i got our clubs ones yesterday, thanks caryl you have out done yourself again! SNOWMAN; i have most of the mags at my shop for people to read so if you are over at my shop you can have a read of my copie until you get one.

  9. they have been breed in tanks , many years ago martin got in some that you could breed from, they cost us all a boom and only a few shops got them. i have also has a customer breed them again mant moons ago in his 4ft tank , i couldnt get over how cute they are when they are babies. but i do think the guy on trade me is dreaming or on drugs :lol:

THATS GREAT!!!! you are doing everything right for them so far, keep the water clean!! i use airline tubing to clean the bottom of the trap clean it dayly!! if they still have egg sacks they dont need food but if they dont feed feed feed is always great, use a mix of foods that you like but i find the jbl plecochips great because they have the wood that plecos need. have fun and enjoy

  17. pupuke aquarium, yes its on the shore, we only sell fish!! no cats, dogs ,birds , mice or rats. :lol:
  18. they dont meet much as caryl said but the auckland club is at greenbay and have good meeting they meet on the 2nd tuesday of the month.

  22. i have a new 4ft arcadia fluro lighting controller on sale in my shop its around $30
  23. to clear your water up use bio chem zorb!!!! aquarium pharmaceuticals sell it, its great put it in your filter and it will clear your tank up in know time
  24. breeding traps work well! good luck fingers crossed i have writen a bit about breeding them in the next fish club mag so if you belong to a club you will get a copie.
