Well tbh I'd leave them this time, ifthey raise them great but they most likely will get eaten, so maybe set them up a 60l breeding tank or just let them breed on something you can remove from the tank, take it out when they have laid then put in a small tank 10l with some methyl blue and an air stone and feed the young brome shrimp -

my male is the same, hes almost solid red , speaking of that they were looking like they were preparing a spot to breed on today , ill wait and see what happens :roll:

That's a long answer joe ok here my short answer I came to when looking at the same problem I got 865 t5ho from lighting direct cheap as, my tank is growing really well :thup:

Just a tip instead of water to wet your finger with use methylated spirits as silicone doesn't stick to it

I have seen a members tank on here that was fully planted and had ph controller on it and it's plants are amazing and grow extremely fast

what i do , is cut the chains every 5-8 plants (depending on how big each plant is) then spread the chains out evenly and soon they take over

hi guys just wondering is the a way to lower the phosphates because at work were having problems with phosphates ( being 10 + on tests) and also would this lead to fish dying? ie platies
