Ok so im planning a new tank this summer , i like the look of the black silcone, but is there any problems people have had? Ie it looking messy after a couple of years???

Ive got 25 mm poly in my shed but it becomes marked arfter a while so i suggest covering it with a thin sheet of ply ie 3 mm, but yeah probly go to 50 mm and line it otherwise it gets messy

I found a 2ft x2ftx ft was a good size because the fry somtimes get lost in larger tanks , but it has enough water capasity and as discus are deep fish the depth is great. Also found that mine didnt like being on the bottom tanks in my breeding stand so have them up off the floor

Ive seen this done before, its the shock of temperatures, they come right after 30 secs, but they do not last long in the high temps, dont recommened trying as i known they do die usually that night

Yeah also stay away from bn, they get under the glosso and lift it up, why dont you get those tiny rainbows with the bright yellow finns( forgot there name)?
