  1. Hahaha! I feel like between my fish keeping, gardening and my dog who thinks he's a real person there's no chance of this changing for me er... ever? Except the young bit. Name- Stephanie (really?) Age- 21 Marital Status - Forever alone. Location- Auckland, Pakuranga at the moment. Sex- Female Occupation- Hospitality/Slave Labour/DIY Legend/Jack of all trades. Hobbies- Fishkeeping, Gardening, Exercise, Cooking, Baking, All things eco friendly. Fav Food- All foods! I'm an addict! Organic fruit and veg, amazing handmade cheese and chutneys, homegrown veges if I can manage it haha. Books - Anything to do with Buddhism or anything to do with being an eco nut! Fav music - Hip Hop, Drum and Bass, Pop and I still listen to a lot of metal! Pets - A very old mental cat (16), a much younger mental cat (7) and my beautiful love of my life mongrel Rod (2), who makes life amazingly fun and is much like having a toddler, only kids probably need less attention! Fav Movies- Anything Arnold Schwarzenegger (I have so much of an obsession I got an Arnie tattoo), or Jason Statham (Snatch, Lock Stock, Transporter, Death Race, Crank, I adore this mans terribly bad films!) and the Indiana Jones movies!
  2. Maybe it's down to the fact that for the last two weeks all i've heard about is Dan Carter and how we can't do it without him from people who only know him and Richie because they make Womans Day.
  3. Terrible attitude! The pressure on Piri after last week would have been insane! He is a BRILLIANT player and him and Cruden can do it! NZ has to get over this Dan Carter thing. There's so many other players to consider! They wouldn't be there if they weren't fantastic players! We're doing fine without him!
  4. Hardly a waste of a day! What a day! I got up very early, racing and rugby! Popped out to grab something for dinner tonight and to stock up on nibbles and beer. Almost my perfect Sunday (just needs boxing!) :happy1: I think I should have been born a bloke.
  5. In other rugby news I just saw the latest Womans Weekly cover and I actually laughed out loud. Looks like potential soft core Jonah pornography, and the fact I was reading today he got paid $10,000 for it makes it even more amusing! Desperate times!! No self respecting man would do a womans magazine interview for such a tiny sum! Respect = gone.
  6. I went there today and met the cute dog! My dog who's only a little (but has a lot of muscle) weighs almost 7kgs, the man says the poodle weighs 4 and it looks big compared to mine! It was amusing me that it's only a tiny dog under that big afro! He told me it's the "teddy bear cut". Both the puppies there today were super cute too! There was a couple of nice looking goldfish but I went to look at the platies and even though I love red wag ones and there was some nice healthy looking ones I didn't buy any because the water was cloudy and greyish and some of the others looked a bit unhealthy. A couple of the angelfish looked a bit the same. Some of the tanks seemed very tiny too. But I was pleased that two people asked if I needed help and didn't hang around for a sale when I said no like some of the other sales people do at other stores.
  7. That's how we did mine. And it made me feel all yuck having my fat pinched!! Any weight I put on goes to straight to my stomach, and it's the last place i'll lose it from. Makes me sad.
  8. It's a little bit funny. It made me start getting healthy super fast. I used to be like 14%. It's quite a scary thing. I've even gone as far as cutting down and now quitting smoking so I can exercise even more than I have been and it won't be as hard on my broken lungs. And it's already making me act like a crazy person! :nilly:
  9. Go Josh! I had my body fat measured a couple of months ago. 34% which makes me "obese". :sml1:
  10. It's just down the road from Animates. Near the China Town bit. I saw it the other day. Do they have any cool fish? The Mt Eden one does occasionally but I haven't checked this one out! Get a puppy and keep fish! It works for me!
  11. Taupo is so stupidly overdue for an eruption, but i'd be willing to bet it won't be in my lifetime. My friend, who is the ultimate freak when it comes to the world ending, sent me a txt a couple of months ago to let me know about the big event taking place this Wednesday. Not long to go now.
  12. Decided to downsize my fish collection to one small tank. Now i'm cleaning out the breeding trap in small tank because it contains about 40-50 platy fry. And they're my favourite fish and yellow with black spots and all super healthy! So I guess it's time for a grow out tank.
  13. I would have popped in but i don't know that area and I generally have no sense of direction so I might have got lost anyway. Next time maybe. I may just have to rejoin.
  14. Oooh that sucks! VTNZ has to be the best since they don't do repairs. And it seems good mechanics are hard to find, although I got the nicest ones in Rotorua who actually talked to me like a human and not just a woman!! And didn't tell me lies about things to get me to spend more money, I was rather impressed.
  15. Yes! Do it! Haha. And back Argentina!
  16. Auckland city was chaos. God i'm glad I don't have kids because I would have been terrified if I had them there like so many people did. People were getting crushed when we were trying to get back to get on the ferry. Not very well planned family event. Maybe Len Brown can write a song about his terrible idea to cram everyone in to Auckland city and provide no entertainment for the masses of people that didn't make it in to the viaduct or the cloud? Crazy they stopped all transport into the city before 5. Next time we host the cup I hope they plan it a bit better haha! They could have put big screens up at different places and tried to spread everyone out a bit. I read somewhere they had 3 first aid stations and 8 big screens. Hardly enough! And there was not enough cops. I got to watch two cops climb on a roof to tell everyone get down though, and everyone cheered when they swung off one of the big lights to get down. And I saw a bloke with a very impressive moko holding a maori flag have a fight with several cops! Good advert for our country buddy! Haha! The wakas were awesome, as were the fireworks, the opening ceremony was great and I was super into it because I love when we have an excuse to showcase our culture. Dave Dobbyn is kind of adorable and we should include both Welcome Home and Loyal as the third and forth parts of our anthem! And it was cool to see Jonah out and about! I think he's great! The game was awesome, obviously not the best competition for them, but my favourite player, Mr Nonu scored a try and wore his pink boots so I was very happy. :happy2:
  17. Hehehe! That's what I was going to post but I was very worried about this family forum.
  18. That aside, we do have a pretty decent record, and you can't deny the fact we have a good team. They're bound to lose a few games, no team is going to be perfect yeah? We'll see how good they are soon enough. I just hate negativity when it comes to our little country. Considering we have considerably less people living here than Australia, South Africa, America, etc, we do very well when it comes to sports in general. I can't wait until the cup is over and the news starts hyping up the Fight For Life in December. Surely no one can bag on Jonah fighting for charity? :happy1:
  19. Maybe when you're an adult you'll understand, then maybe not, but it's sad when you can't support your own country playing a sport they play really well! Your thoughts on rugby are pretty rubbish. Sounds like a thrilling sport to watch. :happy1: I find most birds stupidly boring, and I don't understand why people even keep them, so I don't post in those threads about my hatred for things that make annoying noises.
  20. Gosh this is tragic. Where's the support for the country?! It's a few weeks out of the year. I get that the buildup has been annoying but not long to go now until it's all over! We have a brilliant team with some excellent (and not so excellent *cough* Sonny Bill) players and if you're not a rugby or sport person maybe keep negativity to yourself and go do a water change or something more exciting? I never understand why people who are totally uneducated on a subject, or are just plain negative say/post silly things when they could simply talk/post somewhere else about something else? :nilly: Should I start a 'Who doesn't care about the world cup?' or 'Who has no sense of fun?' thread? :dunno:
  21. I used to enjoy trying to marry random sims from around the place, building a pool, making them swim, taking the ladder out and watching them drown, so my cool sim never died. Simple things and simple minds yeah?
  22. Ugh. Haha. I hope Argentina do well, randomly. I like a good wildcard. I suddenly want to back Tonga because I am loving how into it they are!! If only winning the cup was based on how super awesome and supportive your fans are. It was hilarious driving up to Auckland the other day and seeing how many flags were on houses and cars! Gotta love them all! I'm sooo excited, i've made a couple of sly bets on a few things to do with the cup. And I have a ridiculously huge crush on Ma'a Nonu so bring on the first game! :happy1: :happy2:
  23. Looking at the stupidly fat goldfish in the pond, my many empty tanks and a huge handful of java moss and wondering if it's possible to spawn some goldfish now it's spring and since i'm not breeding anything else and haven't had a fish project in a while. :smln:
