Also the Easter show is on. Other good stuff for fish heads - Auckland Domain wintergarden for the flowers and goldfish ponds...also nice ice cream at the cafe... museum perhaps.... Kelly Tarltons .... Other stuff - Pakuranga or Glenfield Night Markets for tasty food.... Sylvia Park or Botany are probably the biggest shopping mall areas if you like that...

I bought some new fish today :happy2: my dwarf rasbora have been slowly reducing in numbers so I restocked with 5 mosquito rasbora. They coloured up almost immediately I put them in the tank and then happily chowed down on a feast of microworms.

Is there ever any likelihood that those of us who were in UK during mad cow disease (cue Anthony Law......................) will be allowed to give blood? I would like to do something useful like donating some but not allowed.

A few weeks ago I bought 2 Asian moth catfish. They are quite shy and retiring types, until yesterday when I put more microworms in the tank than usual after making them wait a few days for the new culture to take off... this guy is now called Hoover. Sorry Zayne, I didn't mean to offend you or Squirt with my response. I always find mystery fry to be a fun and exciting thing to happen and Ira's response that noone knew where it came from made me laugh. In the absence of facial expressions to accompany comments I appreciate that humour can come across in bad taste at times.
