Well a friend of a friend called me knowing im too damn soft for my own good. I think she was havin a bad week, she didnt know what to do with he was over stressed out by her other male, swimming on his side close to the surface. Basically it was come and get it now or its going down the toilet or in the cats bowl. Having no experience in fish keeping what so ever I agreed, lil bugger melted my heart as most animals do but he was even more so. So off down to livingart in a complete panic, as it had been my lil sisters birthday that week I wasnt just broke I was in debt, luckily down at livingart they're as soft as I am and had no trouble helping me out then and since. So from no thoughts about getting fish, keeping fish, or even looking at fish, 5 days later I got 2 tanks and 5 fish lol. Needless to say I wont be stopping there

Hes a rescue case I wasnt a fan of any fish let alone VT when I got him lol. Glad to hear things are going well with your fishies and i hope the lil man gets better soon so he can get busy making babies

Yeah nice boy alright, Metalic blue pwns its why I love my boy so much, plus hes the sweetest (great big bloody bogan softy I am) If you planning on breeding him you have to let me know, I havnt been going for tail type but that sweet metalic colour, the girl I got today has some kinda stripey thing going shes dark coloured but the shine off her scales is amazing and shes got a full tail not vt, and a hint of metalic blue in her tail too. Im thinking theres some smexy lil bubbas there. thats Coby sorry i posted him twice now lol, I cant help it im so proud of my lil man, considering he was swimming on his side on the surface when i picked him up.

yeah wow I thought those were all so not cold water fish. I suppose they could survive like the ppl who told me 1 cory was sweet as, it will survive but I hardly think its a happy life. I was told of a corydora called bubbles coz it never ever settles and adhd acting up and down the bubble fall at the back of the tank, this is the same lady that told me either 1, 3. 5, 7 or 9 corys and 1 was ideal. I said no wonder its adhd its stressed. Like ppl say if you really have to put a BN in a tank with a goldfish compremise and get a heater they aint criminally expensive for what you get and at least you have peice of mind in knowing the fish are happy. Personally I would get snails too, and get a tropical tank for a BN

There are the club room meet at living art, but now its warming Im thinking a bop potluck/bbq. I do a mean korean BBQ and it will be sweet to have things here at my place, meet the locals who can keep me outa trouble Pm me whos interested and Ill organise it and post a date. First week of october or something. Can bring food/drink but really just need yaselves. As long as I know the numbers before hand. Perhaps a tank crawl the afternoon before. I havnt had much of a chance to meet people since I moved here so will be killing a few birds with 1 stone. Not just fishy ppl my animal lovers and their friends/partners alike. I have a friendly dog so you can bring ya canine too. This way those who work that cant meet the club on a regualr basis, can still catch up with everyone. This doesnt just include BOP people either, so let me know. We have a double bunk in the garage and I got tents and camping gear for anyone that needs to stay, small section tho so 2 tents max will fit but I can also arrange tent sites free of charge close by too given notice. Im just throwing out a baited hook here so if no ones keen then no worries. Dates/Times/Places is all subject to change. Im just happy to be knowing yall through this awesome community. is it fungal? I think it might be, in which case left untreated wont be good, but Im not sure there. I think because its stress related there must be a very fine line between caring/treating and over doing it. Someone here will know exactly what it is. My understanding goes, like you say its something thats always there but wont effect a happy fish, it effects tiny tiny cuts or sores, or even in between the scales. I wonder if its also some how related to diet like pimples in humans. I still got so much to learn so the gurus will clear all my nonsence up in a giffy lol. I would tend to try do the same I would for any stressed animal, some where still and quiet, nothing to worry about except getting better.

wow bro I just seen all this, Total and upmost respect for all the work you've done. After reading the news about that avary attack this has lightened my mood lots. Let us know what the vet bill costs and Ill contribute, it might not be much as Im far from wealthy but Im sure it will help out.
