Aims of the fish room is to lower the power bill =p LOL yeah we thought that too making a fish room in our garage and having one heater going in the room with no heater in all 16 tanks!!!!! but yeah didnt quite work out how we had planned :oops:

if theres anyone in christchurch that needs fish housed while you sort your tanks out please sing out were in hornby we have water and some spare room in our fish room if ya's need help lucky we lost no fish with the earthquake we had no power for nearly 2 days and hows that the livingstonii's have just spawned and my brownaes are still holding all discus are fine they were they main concern :oops: .... very lucky i say was a very scary time hope everyone in chch is ok has anyone heard from nav???

wow what a weekend i have finally got POWER :bounce: as some of you in chch are aware we have a large fish room in our garage well our garage was flooded all the homes in our tanks had fallen down they had nothing for a whole day lucky my husband to be is brillant and riged up a car battery to some little thing pump bubbles for all the tanks and then we left the gas heater going for periods waking up during the night to check on them all and were lucky enough to be given a generator this morning so now we finally have some light im going to go check on them all :bounce: fingers crossed and and i hope everyone is safe wish theses after shocks would stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they have stated that they are cross bred so they aint really doing anything wrong if they were selling them as prue fish then that would be wrong but they aint so whats wrong with that?

they were brought off a lady here in chch she got them from up north as babys and she moving to oz so shes clearing out her tanks might have been discus heaven i think lambo said not to sure
