See that turtle ramp well the shelf is siliconed into the silcon ont he right side of the tank so dont watn to rip that bit out BUT. I could I take the ramp off and just leave the shelf or would it make it unstable????? Dumb me should of removed it when i cleaned it out from the turtle

i think there is a few there is some girls like that i dont know much about the colours what happpened to all of yours?

Thanks Sophia If worse comes to worse i can put some in the lounge tank that only has ten platy fry and one big platy but i dont watn the guppies munching the platy fry I was going to put the Albino guppies in there but then the platys will only eat the fry when its bigger, and the albinos have been with other fish so they might not always have albino babies I will do the daily water change and keep at it I am going to get an aqua one external filter later they are only 160 so that should do a good job..

Yes I will fish are fine at the moment will keep up the water change but with 3 tanks i will get an ammonia kitt I had one before when I had ammonia in a tank from too much fish Guppies are lovely in large numbers The guy i got them off said that he has guppies 100s in a 3 foot tank no filter and his fish are fine

54 bucks on trademe for 3 foot with bulb.. Maybe i will get that and sell those two? not sure yet as both my other tanks have built in lights ... mind you i sell my spare stuff to buy more fish stuff then end up buying fish stuff again ha oh didnt notice that female

Thanks.. there are a few albino ones in there too and an albino girl It will look better when I get a black backing.. and a new tube for my two foot light.. Do you think the two foot light will do Or should i just buy a 3 foot?? One is pick is only one and a bit and old as tube

Yes i understand but I cant really afford 60 dollars for the whole big one so I am just going to get the ammonia test kitt I was told that would do..

We are going to do a swap later I have 2 filters going int he tank but will get an external once the tank has settled down. the man I got the fish off has 100s of guppies in his tank so should be fine and its the same as mine BUT i have had ammonia before from too many fish im goin to buy an ammonia test kitt now on trademe and get it durin the week so should be ok ive done a 20 percent water change already today will do it again each day until i get the kitt Lovely guppies

Fish coming today yay and some plants I will be doing 20 percent water changes daily plus getting an amnoia test kitt i have a PH one that will do until i can afford the whole kitt Any other advice greatly received thank you

Dachende Yes I know but im going to do daily water changes the tank has been going for 2 weeks It has 2 filters in it one from the other tank and oen i put in Plus i put water in from my other tanks. the ph is good but I have no ammonia test kitt yet

Squirt thats good then since its the one that I just set up 2 weeks ago what do I do about the ones with 6 ???? change some water later??? one had Platy fry in it grrr

Right new tank i set up 3 foot been going two weeks Gravel introduced made a bit of a mess of the water been doing daily water changes Just got heater going in it today Fish coming tomrrow as stated 50 guppies 3 foot tank. (stupid i know but im prepared to loose a few) Anyway.. PH is light blue wish is about 7.0 is that ok??? Old kitt I had I did my 2 other tanks that have been set up for yeers and years and their PH is only 6.0 it was yellow I dont know how much to put in the test tube thou as i lost the original one with the marker ive only got one with mls on it Im goin to just buy an ammonia test kitt now the full one tht should do for a while aye TIA

UPdate its working fine ive checked it with my hand it goes on and off yay wont bother sending it back just for the light

Should be fine its heating up to 26 and tank is stayin there and when it touch it, its not on all the time must be an aquaone fault as thats the second one I have that has done that The one in the lounge the light dont work and its got lots of condesation in it so i better replace that one soon too

Thanks i heard it click when i turned it down ive got it on 26 see if my temp thing on side of tank goes down a bit. BUT later i will get better quality.. just on a budget at the mo.. Done pretty well thou heater gravel and fish for 90 for 3 foot tank !!!!!

Hi got a heater second hand off trademe looks new no condesation etc How come the light wont work do they just go bung so how am I going to know if it clicks on and off it heated my tank up to 28 in a few hours... should i leave it for a while then put my hand on it when you turn the temp and down it clicks I dont want to fry my new fish when they come Ive asked the seller to replace it his answer was hes tested it Would you send it back it was $15. PS im goin to make sure when I can afford it ive got a few spares

Both fish died, sad, but i did the salt and water changes. one platy and one guppy didnt get it so they must be ok. was strange how it was the same 2 fish that were same breed as in same colour Bird barn rubbish fish. Ive added some more and put the temp up.. If there is anymore ill go buy some stuff from the petstore Do only some fish get it???

Great put the gavel in must of not washed it all proplery now the water is all dirty NO heater yet... Should i change some of the water or let the muck settle This is the last lot of tanks for me im gonna sell the lot next year

Excellent thank you for your help Ive had tanks for years and always washed the filters under the tap omg now i know why my fish die ! THIS TANK THAT IM TALKIN ABOUT has been runnning for about two weeks with the filter but i washed it out under the tap the heater is comign today so will put that in.. i put the angel fish filter in there too... IS filter wool just as good as a sponge in my Ehimen 2010 filter????? I am goin to buy an external filter later would that help with having about 50 guppies in a 3 foot tank???
