In my drawing all the weight is on the uprights, screws are only there to keep it together. to spread the weight I suggest placing another mdf board at the bottom, that way you won't have big indentations in the carpet when you decide to move it in a few years. as everyone has said, make sure you seal or paint it, or it will puff up

I would use rebate joints for the shelves, this would give added strength and also you don't have to worry about mdf splitting either. I have a 3ft tank on a mdf table with only screws holding it together, but I have rebated all the joints.

I would of recommended a big can of fly spray and a lighter. Instant flame thrower

I believe that the sunsets are harder to breed. from experiences of another club member, he noticed that the parents have on occassions like to chomp on the young, so ensure that there is a lot of plants for the fry to hide in. Apart from that, they should breed ok, but not as prolific as the normal WCMM Hope that helps

mustn't forget to add some indian fern to float on top of the tanks, this helps stop the killies from jumping out. I have it floating in all my tanks, it forms a nice surface barrier.
