Tortoises woke up 2 day ago and then decide that it was still too cold and went back to sleep .. The beards did the same and the coastal are feeding well and very lively .. The Leos did not do down and I have had the first one hatch today with more to go .. All the birds are sitting on eggs or have babies ..so hope the season will be better than last year .. Will just have to wait and see ....

I heat my reeves and snake neck pond and just use 2 x 300 watt heaters and yes when the outside is cold the heats go all the time . But if you do not then they will drown ...the reeves that is the snake neck are more use to the cold ... I think this is best for them .

best thing I have found to do is to dig a hole about foot or two deep and put some iron over it ...leave for a few day and when you lift it up they go in the hole .. I know that this sounds stupid but this does work ...

H I have had the same problem .. Leave it and the last bit will full of and they well grow back .... I have one here that did the same will try put up some pictues as it is growing back ...

They had some nice reeves in Bird barn today when up there looking for animals ?? But did not see any snake necks ...

I find with my one if you put some news paper over them ... right in the container so they cannot clime out they do fine.

They are very nice in colour but can make a lot of noise ..

How old is the leo ?? You may need to use handy towel till it gets a bit bigger ...

if they are not round plumb like a good pair of br...st then they are infertile .. If they grow mould or go fury they are infertile .. If they are good you can pick them up after about 3 or 4 day and see clearly the blood veins with a torch in the dark

What a lot of wind over the last few day .. I would think .. like me .. a lot of other animal lover that we have all be very worried about the animals out side ... I was up most of the night worried about the birds and reptile outside .. What with the wind .... it blow down the fence between me and my next door at about 2 o’clock in the morning And all the aviarys had a good hammering ... Got back up the next morning and found that me lovely little maroon Belly had passed away .. and all so my musk lorikeet hen .. I did wonder why I spend so much time with the looking after of all of my animals .. feed them the right food and trying to make them safe at night when all it toke was a good wind to upset them all .???????????????? Then on Sunday nature did its thing and 2 new babies were born and once again on Monday 5 more babies enter this world And I think ......... this is why I do this ........

Sorry to say but I would say no good .. if they are not nice and round then normaly they are not fertile ...

These tank are .700 x.500 x.500 and have four girls and one male in each ...

So just need to wait grasshopper ... have patience ...
