I have to be careful - they're not like plant where I can just plant them - move them around and do what I like. They're animals and I need to think of how they grow, where they'd prefer to grow and at the same time have the whole thing look nice, so pretty new to me. Oh and then there's the whole stinging thing haha.

Never planned on it. Each coral is on its own rock and there's another couple of kilos on the left. Do I need more?

Got heaps of new corals. Given the additional bio load now, how vital is the skimmer? I'm hoping it arrives soon. Will I be ok without one for a week?

Sure you can. I can't remember having a nitrate reading in my planted tank. Some of us 'add' nitrates to get a balance. -

I think the Marine one would have been too blue? This has a strip of 10K and actinic LEDs. Now that I've got this, if I do decide to add light I could get a Marine+ - it's also cheaper!

Today my light arrived! Wow that was quick. It looks amazing and hopefully that should be enough light. I will also be getting a Fluval PS1 skimmer.

If you buy Puredew water at some stage - keep the bottles. 10L each and quite convenient.

I will once my new light arrives from Amazon. I got a Finnex Ray 2. I also have 2 black percs from aquaworld in Auckland now.

Tank is now a 54L rimless :nilly: :nilly: So it starts.
