I have a series of tanks, 300 mm tall for babies, 400 mm tall for teens, 500 mm tall for adults , deeper the better IMO angels can grow fairly tall

All sounds like its going well. I also run sponge filters off an air line in the back corners and an air stone under the heater, this keeps a bit of water movement in the tank. The young angels will also graze at the filters.

have the same problem on the ducati, labours bad in 6th gear have to stay in 5th :lol:

Congratulations. You can leave them in with mum and dad they will look after them. Feed them on live food is best, brine shrimp or micro worms. Do 20% water changes every 2 to 3 days. Have fun watching them grow.

what size are the tanks ?. On my 160l tanks, I use under gravel filters and grow taller plants around the uplift tubes to hide them, I use 3-5mm gravel at about 50mm thick, have no trouble growing plants. also have hang on the back filters or box filters just for that extra filtration and water movement.

Go to your local wall board merchant (place makers,bunnings etc), and ask them if they have ply cover sheets.

They also do a 2400lph. I have one and have no trouble with it currently running 12 tanks 3 air stones/tank.

I got a stand made by my brother for cost. 2100 mm tall 1700 long 300 wide it holds 9 tanks @ 520x300x300 and space for shelf at bottom. Cost $300 for all the materials and reckens that its worth $550 in his shop.
