Ive got a 160ltr size blueplanet tank (ltr size guessing off top of my head) The look good but the lights are mounted under the lid so a bit heavy to lift up and very loud if you accidently drop the lid which can't be good for the lights On the other hand the filter system seems to be very good, its an airtight unit built into the hood with all the media with it. i took out the TWO sections of carbon after the tank was run in and added more ceramic media. its like having a canister filter in the hood of your tank.

Im not sure where to put this but im sure mods will move it if not supposed to be here I hatch a litre of water of them each time using ready mixed with salt packets but its too much for my fry to eat all at once so i can only give them a little at a time and leave the rest until the next time they need feed. Ive feed them 4 times from one batch now over 2 days and there is still a little BBS left. So got me wondering how long BBS will last in their hatchery keeping the air stone on before they die? What can i do to make them survive longer?

I had to hold my tank too , water was going everywhere , poor fishes all went into hiding I reckon it lasted for a good 1-2mins down here.

Yes ive read about that but mine don't seem to be rough at all. They keep to themselves and the smaller yellows chase them away most of the time

Post up some pics so we can have a look I ended up putin resin on it and then sand before it dries. I liked it before the resin but it didnt turn out too bad. You'll be surprised how good they end up looking when they are done

Ive had this happen to me when i had white silica sand once. Every time i did a vac and stirred up the sand there was an awwwwful smell coming from under the sand The sand didn't have any water flow through it so bad stuff built up and went yuck :oops: i didn't like it so in the end i just got rid of my sand for a 1-2mm gravel which seems to be doing better so far.

They sometimes still eat when they have a small amount of eggs in her mouth. When she breeds more she will produce more eggs and most likely will not eat until she is able to release them.
