I got a Blue Planet UView 24watts here are some photos of my out of control tank community .....there hasn't been any new algae since i set up the UV filter , the tank is 118 cm x60x60 running an Eheim 2217 and a Fluval 204 DIY CO2 yeast mixture, 2x GBNS 3x BNs 2 x albino corys. a Gourami ,upside down catfish who lurks in the top right hand corner near the UVfilter.4 X black tetra ??? several sword tails and guppies and 2 Chinese algae eaters. The ambulia is going mad and i have some crypts (ex hummingbird) there's a little Indian fern and Java moss and the plant that's growing on the wood(forgot the name ) and the val??? I am still trying to aquscape this tank but not yet found the look i want .I am happy with the right hand side of it where the rocks and BN cave is .So its a work in progress....

Hi my tanks is being over taken by Ambulia, is there any other plant undemanding plant i could use, i like the look of Ambulia but not its growing rate!!!!!!!

Ummmm, we use to be with clear, but now with Telecom. Never had any issues and they have always been able to help when setting up a new comp.

Don't you just love the school holidays, i get to spend hours on here and play with my tanks and visiting the LFS ...

They will, they love animals,they are feeling sad we have just had to leave our dog at the vets one of his eyes is looking yucky, it wont open , so he's there for two hours obs and to let the local work so they can sort it out,my two a are sooooo upset.

Its on my list for this year, we come down to the swap meet so we will make it a must see, the girls will LOVE it :bounce: :bounce:

Thanks, but I should really have moved the brown stuff first, but I guess it will still look ok when it gets mixed, I will just keep adding white gravel .I didn't want to upset the BN any more than I had too. I love BNs and Plecos ,so this is going to be their tank... I should have cleaned the glass,its hard getting a photo as the tank is in a hallway ....

I have added some baby BNs and a pair of Plecos and the white gravel . I am going to let the tank settle, I was lucky in that the people we bought the set up from left the filter running,so I was able to get the BN back in the tank pretty quickly. I have done daily water changes as the gravel was pretty grubby.Once things have settled I will think about some new fish. At this stage I'm thinking about a pair of Angels. This is tank number 5,my other half saw me looking at it and said buy it so I did,lucky me!!!!!!!!!

Here is my latest impulse buy ,it came with lights Eheim pro filter two sad Amazon swords and a female BN Yippeeee the post worked

Hi just wondering if you can point me in the right direction as to the type of loach suitable in a 250L community tank to help reduce the trumpet snails i have.
