  1. Ok for a start you want to photo shop off the best resolution stock, has this been shrunken at all? Please note I'm not talking about croping, just reducing down.
  2. Fry surviving probably not. But possible the odd lucky one. Size wise you can't stick Poropanchax Normani Pseodepiplatys annulatus with Fundulopanchax Gardneri Fundulopanchax Scheeli Epiplatys Dageti Fundulopanchax Nigerianus because Poropanchax Normani and Pseodepiplatys annulatus would get eaten
  3. You should be safe with only one species from of each genus.
  4. Nothing really special you have to do for a killie set-up. You must have a lid/hood on the tank because they like jumping. As for setting up the 2ft tanks for breeding. Keep them bare bottom, it is easier to clean ans stops them laying eggs in the gravel. Only have one species breeding in a tank at a time, other wise they can cross breed. I would start with only one specie and keep the other 2ft tank free for raising fry in, or get more tanks . Breeding them is fairly easy, with some species requiring more work then others. Groups that can live together; Group 1 - note: Pseodepiplatys annulatus can get a bit nippy Aphyosemion Australe Aphyosemion Striatum Aphyosemion Bitaeniatum Poropanchax Normani OR Pseodepiplatys annulatus OR Epiplatys Dageti Group 2 - note: Smaller Aphyosemion may be at risk from larger Fundulopanchax Aphyosemion Australe Aphyosemion Striatum Aphyosemion Bitaeniatum Fundulopanchax Nigerianus Fundulopanchax Gardneri Fundulopanchax Scheeli Epiplatys Dageti
  5. Killies  In a lightly planted tank.
  6. Best site for lens reviews http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-50mm-f-2.5-Compact-Macro-Lens-Review.aspx Seems cheap at the moment.
  7. Yes I have seen it before on one of my ex paradise fish . I wasn't as big but it didn't eventually kill him, he would be swimming along and just stop for 10-20 seconds then start swimming again as happy as ever. I never did find out what it was, I tried treating it with nearly everything under the sun but i just continued to get bigger.
  8. You could also try Chinese Hillstream Loachs. The are ok in temp 16-22 C What temp are you planing to keep your tank at?
  9. Ok lets call the pics 1,2 and 3 from top to bottom. so Zev you can see an inconsistency in the background in pic 1 and 2?
  10. This pic has levels that look right on my 2 calibrated screens.
  11. tough little sucker but this is after photo shop hope you are ok with me posting it supa
  12. you might want to turn the brightness on you screen up a bit, Try this
  13. Can you see the particulate in the water of these ones supa?
  14. using a cloth to clean the image sensor is a big no-no, cloth on the lens is ok.
  15. fingers crossed it is on the lens, I don't like cleaning the sensors.
  16. You have dirt on you lens top left conner. I have been meaning to give this a go, gimp has a script for it that works well apparently.
  17. If you computer is really old then you might be out of luck. Do you know any specs on you machine? Another option is as Ira said Torrents.
  18. super-glue was developed as "quick stitch" for the U.S army. Its been used on my head a couple of time
  19. clowns stick to the surface of the water, so you might want to add another type of killie also to cover the middle. Aphyosemion Bitaeniatum or Poropanchax Normani would work well for the middle. In my 40L killie tanks I run one of These And he has a 60l-90l one here a HOB would also work. If you have lots of Java moss you may well find fry popping up in the tank to. Just yesterday I found 3 Normani fry swimming around mid tank.
  20. did you have salt in the water Barrie? not that it would make to much difference.
  21. just water from my water purifier. It was a very small volume of water; one section of my tackle box which is around 25 ml. Very weak meth-blue and they got a water change maybe once or twice. They also didn't have much peat in there with them, just what was stuck to the eggs.
