    Blue Rams

I mean that the eggs hatched and didn't get eaten by the parents, young blue rams are very bad parents. the second time was my fault i was not ready for them and the fry properly starved to death.
  11. I was just looking at some tank photos and noticed a crab, got me wondering if there is a fresh water crab here in nz that will live in a tropical tank. so has anyone got one of know of any?

Thank you Heir i love these little guys
  14. I also used these my rams also love them, strangely, they also come in different sizes which mean you can add multiple tabs in a tank so may fish can have a go at them.

  17. I had all ready found glass shapes website so i wont need there details thanks anyway barrie. after talking to glass shape that radius of the corners i was after it seem impossible in new zealand. the minimum radius corners they can do is 400mm. I have got some other ideas that i will talk over with them so ill keep you all posted. Kathiej the first dimensions that have turnout to be impossible, were a 2.2w x 0.8h x 0.6d, it a tank that is going to be set into the wall of my dinning room.
  18. Thanks i have been looking around and think i found a place that will do it. If i do get this done it will be quite a tank.

    Bronze Cories

Yep you only need one of each, i have one male for along time and then a got another turn out to be female. anyway after a month together i have cory eggs over my tank walls of my comuity tank. They have spawned many time after now and the biggest challenge i face with the eggs is keeping fungus from growing on them. Other then that cory babies are the cutest. Whiskers already, o so cute
  22. I have just removed a male guppy from my community tank because he looks bloated, not that i have ever see it, but his bodie seems blowen up and he has a spot on his side what his scales seem lifted or there is soming poking out of him. Any thoughts whats wrong with him? Sorry pictures coming soon.
  23. My corys hatched and one decided to play along and have some photos taken so thank for the help and enjoy! Whiskers already, o so cute This last one is Mum

    Cory's hiding

i have 2 bronze corys that have started to do the same. They started after i removed there eggs from there tank to the hatchery. The babie corys are now big enough to fend for emself in the community tank so the baby corys are back in the tank with mum and dad. since the kids have been put back they have got there personality back and are coming into the open again. i think you will see more activity out of them if you add more corys.
  25. Thank you for the help They are Bronze cory eggs and they came at abit of a surprize so i was not perpeard so what i did was: I went out to find a pet store that was still open and got a breeing float and ive put the eggs in there. I have seen some white eggs and i have read that i should take them out, but how long after the eggs are lay should i be able to tell if they are going white?
