Thanks guys, they are very funny to watch and don't like having their picture taken....had to intice them from under their sword plant hide out. Had these 2 for a year and they have breed few times, though the eggs/fry never make it. Am considering a setup just for them, would love to see them raise some fry.

Very interesting stuff, I'm always fascinated how the genetics work....just when you think you have it sorted the spawn/adults prove you totally wrong. The thought had crossed my mind with the different colours representing the parents.... time shall tell (cross fingers). I'm interested to see whether I will get any yellow variations of the father (cross fingers again) Cheers Adodge

She's done it again.... Mummy yellow mated with the below crowntail. I should have cleaned the exterior glass before taking the photos!! Their many,many babies are now 3days old and I noticed on Monday night that half of the tiny fry are black/grey and the others are white..... never seen this before.... I took a photo but isn't very clear. Even more excited to see how they present when they get older.

Hahahaha omg they only just a week old today and already people know. Yes, it is indeed true my yellows have breed. I am very excited to see how they turn out, colourwise..... which according to that fighter genetics site should be yellow. To be continued.......
