  8. too much eggs + weak air flowing=taint dead BBS or failure less eggs+strong air flowing= happy BBS haching, but not happy fish fries (not enough to eat)lol, plus wast of time and salt. lol. i have 4 hatcheries carry on at the same time, and 5big spoons eggs in each bottle..... fini each bottole in half day.....
  9. the air flow way is different upset down seems have wider range involvement in the jar, and the amount of BBS egg you put into matters. hope this helps.
  10. reasons: 1.easy to sep shells and shimp] 2.get higher hatch rate.
  11. Got my 4 imported boys bred, two r Coper HM ones x wit my black HM female n silver coper female , two r coper CT males, x with my F1 ct females. In da last 3 days, 4 batches hatched out of 5 spawning pairs.
  12. bigger tank, BBS, leave them alone, that will do the job.
  13. from my experience, only the F1 and F2 from the imported stocks are showing the resonable quality, from F3, you need to introduce new bloodline to stengthen the pool. however, new indroduction can result 'kicking back'( not desiable tail type), and only small % fries are showing the quality, and worth to keep breeding. two of the main probs we having are 1. limitation of quality stocks. 2. the way we keeping them. back to basic. the original way of keeping fighters in Thai land is jaring or pond keeping, water change, and high protein live food. lets forget about filteration and fleaks etc, sometime, we are thinking too much on behalf of fighters, eg. bigger area for fighers to swim, Oxygen, water flowing etc. regarding to water quality, there is no way apart from manually water change can keep fighters happy.
  14. this is the mum :bounce: :bounce: this was the dad when he was youngster, but now he is a grand dad for most of my fries. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
  15. walked pass by my Ocellatus tank, and suddenly noticed some wee things moved into a shell. and then i found these little fallows. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
  16. unless, they grow up together
  17. positive, even 1ltr tank will do the job.
