Nah the Xenia I got from Jolliolli is growing like nothing i've seen before I have noticed some tiny wee snails in my tank with the same shells as my big ones, I'm hoping that they'll make it to a larger size before the wrasse eats them for lunch

Hahaha I've got an intank brine shrimp hatchery on its way. Once i've tested to make sure it not going to release heaps of PO4 into the tank, i'll get it up and running. My wrasse has teh right idea. Spends all day cruising around the rock looking for pods, and will eat flake when I feed it. All the others just wait at the front of the tank, kind of like how the fish did in Finding Nemo with the Auto Feeder haha

They were telling me they send alot of stock up north to Blenheim? I've been considering the Longnosed Butterfly in 1 of their tanks, but the whole reef-safe thing is a bit of a worry

Speaking of Critters, I had a nosey in at Critter Kingdom on Stanmore the other day, and noticed a little hermit crab in their display tank. Like usual there was noone there that was able to answer the question of "is it for sale, can I have it and how much?" Maybe I should've just reached in and grabbed it? LOL

I'm so tempted to buy one myself to have ontop of my corner tank LOL

Juwel do make very nice tanks, I've had 2 myself. Although they are quite pricey

So rubber band them so they're facing sideways? Will it grow upwards towards the light? I've googled the species u mentioned reef, and it looks more like a capnella sp, but it's still a bit different. I'm sure I've seen a pic on these forums that you've posted that I thought was identical to it, but buggered if I can find the post During the day its fully extended, and an hour or so after lights out, its pretty much closed up into 2 fist sized balls (obviously from 2 frags on the rock) Thanks Wasp, I still think the tank needs more colour so I'm going to frag the small amount of different coloured zoos from the main colonies (got some violet and orange/green ones growing in there) and put them on seperate rocks to try and grow them out a bit. Fragging that umbrella leather like you suggested gives me the heebies just thinking about it. Do you think that would be the best method, or should I just slice a nice big piece of it and cut that up? Will need to do something soon anyway, its only an inch away from touching the grape coral infront of it, and I've seen what a euphyllia can do to a leather!

Can anyone name the tree like coral in the middle of the tank? And what the best way to frag it would be? Its growing like crazy

I believe its like most things though, blown right out of proportion by a certain few, of which then other people listen and spread it round, until everyone believes (due to what internet research says because the internet is majorly opinionated) that its very easy to be poisoned. If u stick ur hand with an open wound into the tank, or put ur fingers in ur mouth/eyes/anus after handling any type of coral, then u deserve to get poisoned. Common sense is the winner in this case

Sweet Now is Liverock better to put these on, or is dead/base rock (which has been cleaned) gunna be ok?

When you frag them (if they're not growing in a sponge which is easy to pull apart) do u just cut them as low as you can to the base and glue them? I wanna try frag some of the orange/green ones struggling to grow in amongst the brown ones I got from u aswel.

Oh Conch, guess what I found last night... A small clump of purple Zoos wedged into 1 of my nanostreams... looks like the starfish isn't to blame :oops: Gunna attach em to a rock tonight and pray they survive (they look a bit mangled LOL)
