  1. But for an all in 1 unit, the RSM is the best we can get in NZ though?
  2. Heres the video. First time i've tried to post a video so not sure if it'll work
  3. Yeah, mine do it all the time too, this is the first time i've actually seen them doing it though, rather than just looking in the tank and seeing all the little babies floating around. All my fish are asleep and haven't realized. How long will the babies last until they die off/are skimmed out?
  4. Have just had a nosey in the tank with the torch to find 1 of my shrimp standing ontop of my nanostream (currently covered with a media bag to prevent anemone soup). On closer inspection, it was releasing its fry. The shrimp was a little camera shy, not surprising since it was giving birth. Shortly after I started taking pics/video, it moved to a position where I couldn't get a good shot, so I've left it alone. Thought people might be interested in a pic and video (once its uploaded)
  5. And here I am worried about 1 cube of brineshrimp in my 350litre tank that I feed once a week!
  6. I've seen my small 6line wrasse eat a large sized amphipod, and if its little mouth can devour one, then the mandarin shouldn't have any problems.
  7. Did you work out what sex they were?
  8. Trying to do it on my own sounds pretty good to me If I find its something I want to get into then i'll look at the clubs Especially considering that to get anything decent means $$$$ and i'd rather not have that hit the deck
  9. Yeah wasn't sure about that but yeah it'll get me started to see if I wanna spend more coin on it
  10. Heres an auction which is pretty much identical http://www.trademe.co.nz/Toys-models/Ra ... 42.htm?p=1 Zhacque, I'm pretty much assuming i'll be able to get it off the groud, but i'll try something fancy I.E barrel roll, and plow it into the deck within 5 minutes of flying LOL
  11. Yeah its a GWS one. And yeah it was pretty cheap at a wee bit over a hundy for plane and radio gear. Either way, if I destroy it, I'll at least have the radio gear to try something else
  12. Mmmm its not expensive COMPARED to keeping fish.... yet I have in the past made worse decisions which I probably would've been better (and more entertained) with just flushing the money down the toilet
  13. Oh sorry, didn't recognise you in that wig STOP! HAMMERTIME!
  14. Too late, already purchased an electric corsair with all the bits. Was a damn sight cheaper than the other ones I was looking at so I'm not too worried about crashing. Conch i'll get in touch with you after I've destroyed the Corsair with training if I want to continue
  15. That must be you in ur teenage years dancing conch?
  16. About a month until I noticed the whitespot becoming less
  17. Do they have much character reef?
  18. Unfortunatly it takes quite a while. Keep doing what ur doing with the feeding. Basically what you have to do is get the tangs immunity up, so when the ich cycles again (or again 2 cycles down the track etc) it manages to fight off the parasite. Once you have the fish's immunity up, the Ich can't sustain itself and will die.
  19. Thats like what I had but he disappeared. I'd buy another one in a second! It had the most character out of any other fish I had. Was so gutted when he disappeared
  20. Mine have never made any indication that they would jump, but then again my tank is totally covered for that reason lol
  21. They seem pretty happy together. They split up when they went into the tank which worried me a bit, but they've managed to find each other overnight so I'm assuming they've got some sort of relationship with each other. Is there anyway to tell males and females apart?
  22. I didn't see it there either Heres a pic Just missed out on a photo of the red one hanging with them aswel
