I'm still confused. I thought the plant database was aquatic plants, not bog plants. Acorus should probably be removed from the database then.

Why do you want pics of Acorus? It is a bog plant. Maybe a sperate thing should be made with photos of all the bog plants we have in NZ?

I phoned Organism this morning and bought another two fish :facepalm: :lol: Haha that's $180 for all four You guys must think I'm insane :lol: I'm seriously addicted to Apistos :love: Apparently one looked quite like a female, and so I got a male to go with it incase it is a female. So hopefully I'll have two pairs now. But only time will tell...

They have arrived safely at Organism today, and are a definate pair from what I've been told :happy1: Jennifer is shipping them to me this afternoon hopefully Otherwise they'll probably be shipped tomorrow I still don't have this bloody tank Everywhere I look the prices are complete rip-offs, and there are still a couple of places that haven't got back to me. The only place that had really good prices was Greg, so I'll probably have to go with Caryl's idea: In the mean time if I want to try and breed them, I'll probably have to put a divider in my 150L or ask someone to look after my current fish for me. Will the Apistos breed happily in a community tank in a divided section?

I'm confused - there is a Hemiloricaria lanceolata, and a Rineloricaria lanceolata as well, and they are both Whiptails, with a different genus name, but the same species name (lanceolata)?

Yes that tank definately has to have Crypt. affinis Cryptocoryne willisii would look nice too, because it has really nice glossy leaves and doesn't need a lot of light. And Crypt. cordata would also look nice because of it's unusual creamy-coloured leaves, which will add more variety, texture and colour to your tank

The best thing on the planet :happy1: Sooty isn't actually that big though. She is quite stocky, but I have seen far larger cats than her. It must just be the photo making her look big This is a furry elephant :lol:
