    The What's Up? thread.

I saw a lone Brevibora cheeya in the local shop today It was in amongst its more common and smaller relative, B. dorsiocellata. It would have been an accidental import because it isn't on the allowed list. I found this photo on SeriouslyFish.com that shows the difference between the two species B. cheeya on left, B. dorsiocellata on right. As you can see B. cheeya basically looks like a much larger version of B. dorsiocellata, just like the fish that I saw. And the marking below the black spot on the dorsal fin is more yellow than white.

Thanks for the comments guys! I posted them here because this is seperate from my holiday project. I will only be taking photos occasionally now since I am back at school. Yeah I don't have a DSLR I will most likely be getting one later this year so I'm really excited :happy2:

My camera focuses automatically, and when it is dark the shutter speed is slower. So it didn't quite focus properly, and I had more time to develope the image than when I take photos during the day because they are captured much more quickly due to all of that bright sunlight. I took this when I was in the car, of street lights and other cars. As I pressed the shutter button I wiggled the camera a wee bit which produces the cool patterns
  17. Awesome work Let me know when you have Sundadanios ready! I will buy a whole heap from you, and if it is a small spawn, possibly the lot :bounce:
  18. Poor goldfish I think it's stupid that people do stuff like this for pleasure without thinking of animals. Sure, the fish wasn't harmed, but I can't imagine that what it went through was particulary pleasent for it.
  19. I keep the fish in my signature. I really like small fish, especially dwarf cichlids and tetras. I am not a fan of monster fish.
  20. Wow that's beautiful! !drool: One of George Farmer's scapes isn't it? I remember seeing that photo somewhere a while ago.
  21. FLOURISH EXCEL :happy1:
