    like alan i believe the fish you are refering to BURN are gambusia http://www.nzfreshwater.org/thumbnails/gambusia.html confusing these with tropical guppies is an easy mistake for a tyro to make in fact i have seen people attempt to sell these on trademe as cold water guppies :roll:

    could be as you said a number of things speculation ontil it is examined really an abrasion will clear up over a short time depending on how bad it is is it housed with other rabbits?

    some reptiles don't seem to conform to scientific rules if it did happen as soloman has suggested then a raise in average mean temperature in their habitat may cause the extinction of that species the Thai water dragon P. coccinus (spelling) in papers i have read is chromosonally sex determined

    is this new info that has come out? there are a few types of sex determination in reptiles, so what you are saying may well be a possibility

    if you are going to use water stored for use in your tanks then that will be one way of checking but remember guppies are tough little sods sometimes and it may take awhile for any long term genetic effects to show

    putting a filter on the WDs works well, no worse than turtles all make good pets with regular handling from young BDs would be the most interactive

    that is a tail less whip scorpion, they are not really a scorpion though not poisonous
