Cant get mine out.....filter is pissing me off as its so noisy...may have 2 get a new filter

Does it come all the way off? My filter has a buzzzing sound like a airlock but i can get rid of it. Doesnt matter what i do.....shake refill...restart...has new O rings in it

Water changes bring the ph back to normal for about 12hrs. Ph of the water here is about 7.2 Im not over feeding... I have all the stuff from the supermarket to bring the ph, gh and kh up so will wait and see what the tank does

Datnoids are so cool and grow slow. Im getting rid of my oscar and getting more than datnoid. Getting rid of pleco as im going planted. Hoplo's are really cool!

It has a switch on top on the filter that says lock and open. What is this for and where should it be?

Im going to leave the tank for 24hrs more and see what happens.

I dont have the time to water change every 2-3days and it would still drop. Ill try that link and see how i go

Yes to drift wood. Low bio load on the tank. 1/3 water change every week. Not much rain. Ph is about 6 right now...24hrs after a water change. Oscar doesnt look happy when it starts to drop Ill let it drop over night and test in the morn

In my 300L thank i keep getting PH drops. Water ph here is about 7. I have a small Oscar, 2 Bichirs, Pleco and 2 Hoplos. My KH is 4 and GH is 3. Should they be higher? If so what should i use to increase the KH and how high should i aim for? Iv been using Sera PH/KH plus and have none left. I have been adding minerals to my tank also Tank is fully cycled and this problem has only started in the last 3 weeks

$20ish for a figure eight. They are hardly any on the market if any. Iv been in the hunt for 7 months now....there are a huge number of people on here wanting any sort of puffers...Good luck. Iv got over them now and am getting datnoids :roll:

I have just under 10kg of pmdd here Its 900mm long. Started up my halide's and think that one for the tank may do. Im going to make it so i can put a 2nd one in later if its not working. With co2, whats a regulator worth these days?

Getting a glass lid on top of the tank keeps it in or just wipe it off every day

Im doing a native fish tank and will be using native and exotic plants. I have 2 150w metal halides here with 6000k bulbs, would 300w be excessive for a cold planted tank that is 220L? Should i just use one halide?

On my jebo that i have just got(hasnt been used in a month or two) seems to have a air leak around the output and maybe input. They are made so they swivel. How do i get them out (the twisty things that the pipe/valve goes into)? Im pulled it apart and cant find a way to get them out. I just want to put some thread tape on them before i go away to help stop the air getting in
