Dynamat is designed to stop a panel resonating(ie car outer skin on door) It will help to a certain extent but IMO its money down the drain Tried close cell foam and polly all around the cabinet walls and floors?

If i was going to build a "normal" over flow how far down from the top would the holes be and what size glass box attached to the tank?

Im wanting to make a over flow box for the tank Iv decided to use a durso standpipe system in my overflow Now to find materials and design my over flow Cheers guys!

Suggestions of types of overflows for my new 1.5m x .5 x.5 freshwater that may turn to the salty side Im going to set up a sump on it What sort of l/ph return pump should i use?

It was in a salt water tank on the bottom shelf. Im pretty sure it was a knife, it was about 200mm long and looked like a knife. Cant remember the name, all i remember was knife...saw it on 2 occasions. May have not been a knife but a similar fish

They had a box fish, knife of some sort and a puffer a month ago. Dam going there makes me want to come to the dark side :roll:

Metal halides i can get are around the $150 mark PM's as i have other sources that are cheaper

God thats expensive I did my metal halide set up for $150 (2 150w fittings/ballast and 2 6500k bulbs) Im going to go get some(below) trade prices tomorrow on fittings so ill let you know what they are worth new. I can sort you out some bulbs

Um feed 2-3 times a day on good food. Id say mine grew 30-40mm in a month Hahah they get angry at the metal ruler, they stick their backs up and go on their sides. Its quite funny -

Well i needed them to grow quickly so they wouldn't get consumed by my bichir. Now there is no reason to feed them so often, thus they have slowed down -

I got my ones to grow realy fast by feeding 2 times a day(almost like a oscar). Now i have cut it back so they slow down -
