Ceramic heat emitters would be the go. Demand increases = Supply increases = Economies of scale kicks in = Price drop. In theory(if there is not a shortage) Im sure there must be cheaper CHE's out there

Nice. Exactly what i was going to do, but i ended up using normal sand and no rocks. Thats some serious lighting Iv had no light penetration issues with a power saver and and 300mm deep tank with glosso. khuli loaches like to dig, thats why i havent used them in my tank.

David- Actually they need rich UV lighting. My bad Thats it. Id start with 2 With 5-6 in one cage you will get fighting IMO. We have to split ours up often. Even 2 females can fight quite hard! Call your local DOC office re permits and read through ALL of that site i linked. Good luck getting 5-6 of them
