Will the water ever go over the edge of the container its sitting in? Its happened to me twice and both times its stopped leaking once it fills the container(or i find it when it fills it :lol: )

Im pretty keen to get rid of this Aqua one :lol: The owner wants it back soon and the hoses are all twisted and dont have proper outlet and inlets. Ive also got my Eheim internal filter that will be in there

This cf1200 isnt perfectly good, it has twisted pipes and the inlet and outlet are prettl much just open pipes. And its not even mine :lol: And it really is gonna be my only tank

I intend to make a Hood for my latest and final tank. The tank will have glass lids on it aswell, But im not sure if the small holes for the filters and heater cables will let out enough moisture to make the hood swell if i make it out of mdf(or whatever the stuff is :lol: ) so what should i do? I have made a model on Sketup, but photobuckets not working for me so i cant upload it(if someone can do it for me i can email it to them ) TIA

So, My next tank is also gonna be my last tank, and only tank. I'm getting a nice custom made 1400mm*350mm*450mm high with Black silicon. And the budgets a bit higher than usual So i thought i would upgrade to a better brand than my aquaone cf1200. So the highest il go is $200, what are my options? Ive found a JBL Cristal Profi 500, does 1200lph $180ish i think and it seems better quality and has a 4 year guarantee.

You will find that Siamese and Chinese(or golden) algae eaters are quite a different fish, in both looks and temperament. But the one that Joliet has is a chinese and they do tend to get quite aggresive and 'chasey' as they get bigger. What size is your tank?

Theres no such thing as a better filter with less current, Your filters probably not coping well at the moment, can imagine what would happen if you put a new smaller one in.

If the fighters fine, and the other fish are at the top it could be low oxygen. Do you have a airpump going? And whats the temperature?

Il be keeping my pencilfish( about 10), Ember and cardinal tetras(10 of each), BN pair and about 5-6 of my 30 corys :lol: I dont think there should be a problem with the shape of the tank. Well i have 500Lkg+ of tanks and stand sitting where the new tank will be so thats not a problem

I'm definitely getting a all in one tank, I do have an external filter i could run on it, but I'm not going to have many fish in it, And il have heaps of plants so i don't think I'll really need another filter.
