i have seen chinese algae eaters in cw setups , what size is set up ? also i have seen plecs in coldwater set ups but i dont think thats right imo

Hi Guys, i was given a Barb a stunning one at that ! , but he has a cloudy eye ,there is no other visible signs of disease , should i try and treat it , or see what happens for a few days ? Cheers

they are good snail munchers , what sort of snails are they? perhaps you are feeding them to well

only fish people know to other people its only a fish !

Dont unestimate the power usually find they have night time munchie attacks , wake up in the morning and find other fish with bits of fin missing , in my experience i may of had a rouge though , and only one may be ok in groups i guess

I would ,get a custom built tank and nice stand , 8) but each to there own

I would if i had that much loss , but thats only my opinion , they could have some yucky parasite , which will just keep coming if it aint eliminated what species of barb is that ? very nice

Found it while surfing bout these guys . i was just amazed by the size of fish it ate ! i can see why he aint a community fish .

can you get tank dividers 15 x 20 inch ? or will i have to make one ? thanks in advance 8)

have you stil got the different nozzles? there is one that diverts water on the surface you could turn nozzle to back of tank . thats what i did to mine any way and it stoped the rapids !!

what sort of filter is it?

what size are the fish ? is there away of slowing the flow of filter ? as gouramis , dont like turbulant water much . maybe moonlight is pushing him out ?? , what size is tank (for territories etc ) , also a top would be an idea to keep ambient temp the same as water , as gouramis need to breath atmospheric air (labaryinth fish ) gouramis,bettas, etc..

they can dig deep , also check bogwood, plants , etc... how big was he ?
