good looking tank, very busy feel about it, i like it...

im going with black, stuck a black rubbish bag behind it and it looks great, just need to figure out how im going to do it now as i only have an inch between the tank and the wall, thinking along the lines of cardboard and strong tape

i put a black rubbish bag behind mine to see what it was like and it makes a huge difference, makes all the colours of the fish and the green of the plants stand out, try it....

maybe Animal Antics can put toghter a prize pack of thier choice which they are happy to post, and if the winner choose's to have a voucher to the same value to spend in the shop then so be it. Yes/No??

Back on topic for a moment, would it be ok to use this tank for say 2 cichlid fish? if so what type, Krib's?? any other's..

Is that the shop down bottom of stafford street, To say sumthing like that is unacceptable as far as i am concerned, take sum pics of your tank and post them for us to see, how many fish and how many liters is your tank.....Who was it that said that statement?

agree to 3 month's, so if the comp was to start say 1st sept, then judging for a month then the winner in december or is that to long....

Sound's like a good idea, to whoever is going to take control and organise this, it might pay to start a new thread with rules etc etc, but you can use this thread to discuss what ppl want in the way of rules etc..

yeah that sounds interesting, i was thinking window tint on cardboard then double sided tape and that way it is not permanent..

well looks like it could be black, i thought a lighter colour would bounce the light abit better. what sort of paint is the next question, tank is acrylic. how you go with the pics lyndyloo.....

^^^ why?? would it not look better with the hood filter left on but modified (maybe cutting out abit of the back of it) to allow for the canister tubing.

hi ya if your hubby is in the welding industry and has access to everything then he should know how to hook up the solenoid tubing etc etc, then all you need to do is tune it to how many bubbles per minute..

With these jbl balls do you have to plant them right by the roots, i have sum plants already planted in pots so does that mean i have to replant them with the ball by the roots.
