Or if your really lucky, you can get a very fancy LED system, me led unit is very good at slowly comming on to act as sun rise and sun set, + moon lights as well

haha sounds easy, but really needs to be taken on medium format square... really wana get a H1 hasselblad, but cant afford 50k

Im in the process of looking at a new camera as well, been looking at the 550d, or the 7d, i need one that can take photos in square format not rectangle and 15mp as a min...

it can be done, but you will most likly get annoyed at the limatations that it has, a standard tank that same size will cost around the same, as for the lights, filter etc, you not going to use them any way so your wasting money on them any way

the live rock will do most of it, and then in the sump there is a deltec mce 600 skimmer. also looking into to anemone filtration but will post more details about that once ive fine tuned the idea

have just moved my cooked rock into the tank to let the next phase of the cycle happen not much to see yet but here are some pics tank is a 2ft cube, with 120w leds that will be used to grow sea weed and macro

not so true. all sumps are pump driven, mine in cluded. when i turn my pump off i lose about 2 cm from the display tank and my sump rises up by around 5 cm as its smaller

have you throught what will happen when you turn / lose power to the tank?? depended on how you have your over flow and return set up depends on how much syphon back you will get, you need to make sure that there is enough room in the sump to take this extra water

i know the lady that sold it, even got to see it a few times, ended up being brought buy a guy in Hamilton he put it into a tank unheated and it went into hibernation and that was the last i herd, not sure if it came out of hibernation or not. he also cut a toe off it and sent it germany for dna testing

budget isnt that big, leaning more to a jap import. have been looking at an mitsi airtrek but its got a 2.4L, and realy want something smller
