small turboed engines are great, large turboed engines are better. turbos make up for things that are lacking. the corvettes either still have rear leafs or recently had them, that is rubbish suspension. they do have some that handle but there are only a small few that do out of how many models that have been made?

it may pay to check it with a straight edge of some kind, definately prop it up in the centre as timber will sag with that sort of weight on it.

I totally agree barrie up until xmas i had a 2 door laser with a 1.5 injected engine which i used simply as a run around to work & golf as it was small & economical. i have a v8 i drive when i want a hoon, tow a trailer or carry the family.

its all about power to weight ratios, fridges don't need much power to push them along

what's the tank being supported with? do you think it will be strong enough over time? i would hate for you to get a crack in the centre of the base.

why they do that? was that to slow them down like when they regulated the tyres from slicks to grooved tread?

ah the jappa quad cam v8, nice donk that. A mate put a chev into a navara, that was a funky riide but each to their own. i want to stick my 400hp 310ci (304ci standard ) into a gemini or similar but dreams are free :lol:

nah not at all, he bought a mint bonnet for $54 & a boot lid for $2.50 the day before yesterday.

i would add some rocks, more plants & wood then put a trim across the bottom to cover the silicone line. i would then let it sit for a day or two & change again if i wasn't happy with it. just try a few things & see what you like.

you have done a huge amount of work to achieve that, well done. My work mate has a RX2 coupe which is pretty cool, i would own one but they are near the bottom of a long list of toys.
