Sorry was that your one, or was it you that had the other 2 on hold? They are getting more in (they're locally bred) but the guy didn't say when, if I find out I'll let you know (so I can race you to the store to buy them all up )

    Availability

Labidochromis caeruleus? Pet World in CHCH appeared to have a pair that bred in small divided section of a tank probably measuring only 1' x 1' x1'. How about that then!

    New Kid in town

How ya all doin'? I'm about to embark on my 2nd foray into the fish keeping game. My first tank lasted a few years but I lost interest when I got to High School. It was fun trying to run a tank on about $2 a week plus b'day presents. I had a freshwater tropical setup and unfortunately kept a lot of species as single species and 'schools' consisted of about 4 individuals. This time round my tanks a little bigger 36 x 18 x 18 (vs 30 x 12 x12) and I can honestly say that it's the best setup aquarium in the country - it is on the garage floor and contains a good assortment of hydrogen and oxygen atoms combined together to from water, and that's it! (just testing it for leaks! If my friend finishes making the stand, soon I'll be able to keep fish rather than just read shit loads about them on the net. Catch you all later, Kriber
  8. Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone has any experience using external thermal heaters (ETHs) like the ones made by Hydor for example that run off the outlets of external canister filters? Are they very relaible? They aren't common around CHCH stores, and I'm wondering if reliabilty is the issue as for what they are they don't seem ridicuously priced compared to more standard heaters.
