  1. Nah, just have every wall in your house as a fish tank!!!! (Although you might want the bathroom walls to have frosted glass )
  2. Yeah all potting mix contians fertiliser - peat is good cause its nice and pure... I guess the acidity could be a problem but I know you are ment to use peat when you start up a wormfarm (eathwrms I mean) and then add a bit of lime to bring the pH up - so don't see why it wouldn't be the same...
  3. I've had 2 for about 4 years now and they are both about 4cm, awesome wee fish, very active!

  7. you don't need that many - they grow and breed REALLY fast - but you do need to get tiger worms cause they are much harder workers! I can send you some if you pay for the postage...
  8. I've got a worm farm. They eat all of the kitchen scraps, apart from meat, citrus and spicy things. They eat loads and break it down nicely and I always have a massive supply for my birchir and fronts, who love them! I was out there last night and I would estimate that for every square 5cm x 5cm block, there would be about 50 worms in there!!
  9. Could it be their swimbladders??
  10. nice tip I use one to get ice of the windscreen, but I'd never though of algae!
