if you have only males there is there any really problem getting lots of them? Without any females they won't have anyone to pesister. If i was you i'd get a few more really awsome male guppies and try a few high finned Male platies i think these guys look really good, just like ordinary platies but their top fin lots more like a giant dorsal fin.

ok i think i have almost everything but still slightly unsure, is it ok that i'm going to change the neons from 27 degrees to 20 degrees? what pH should i be aiming for? you guys are awsome cheers

thanks o much have the perfect tan and room temp is around there at the moment, here goes. Could you explain socked? is it reall nessecary could gravel and a couple of small piece of drift wood work?

it's in my african tank so high pH is A ok.

i'm lacking heater so i won't be able to move them to their own tank so i'll just let them do their thing if they are gravid. there is some diftwood in there so maybe they'll lay on that fingers crossed!!

yeah that sounds about right, maybe i'll decrease light and feeding, give the shells a clean and see if it comes back, cheers

I've had this guy for almost 3 months now and his tail has not changed in shape at all, does anyone elso have a male guppy with this shaped tail? It looks more jaggard than it actually is, it's quite a smooth curve.

sorry yeah I had managed to gather they laid eggs from the info i saw. Pregant was perhaps the wrong word, so do you think they could be carrying eggs? Thanks

Has anybody else experienced this. I am starting to get a brown coating on the shells in my tank, it's not on anything else so i don't think its an algae. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure whether these neons are pregnant or just stealing all the food, the only info i can find on breeding neons is that they are too hard and don't try. I haven't tried but was just wondering if prehaps it could have just happened. They're all in a schoal of 11. Sorry bout low resolution pics

I think they are great pics as well, a good pic isn't based on what the quality (size wise) the pic is, it's about what's in the pics, i think your fish look great. well done quality may not show all the beauty of the fish that you may see in person but i still think they look awsome. double thumbs up

it's just a fresh cutting so i put it in the light, once it grows a bit more i will more it to the back Thanks for the advice That plant is now the third generation cutting ( if thats what you call it) that type of plant grows really well in my tank, now have 5 different plants from the one original i brought.

i hadn't even really thought of siliconing, I think i wil leave it for a bit because tank has only been going fo r less than a month so will wait a bit i think. Your suggestions are great thanks heaps.

yeah i know convicts aren't africans however with 13 africans and 5 convicts i think africans win out over the convicts. They can be honourary africans. :lol: I thought maybe some thin shist would be the way to go to make the cave, might head out to Stone And water world again soon so i'll have a look when i'm there. Thanks for all your comments
