i use red sea makes 120ltrs for $38 might be on the expensive side?? not really sure never bothered looking around

are they fluorescent lights???? you cant put dimmers on them but dont see why not timers

i find it OK when i had a block out hanging up. so that's why i am enclosing the tank and light in the wall. if not happy will put a curtain up when watching movies

yes that will be the front of the tank might leave the side of the tank open so you can look into the side of the tank (brianemone idea ) but all depends on the light factor don't want to much light shining on my screen
