on my loop pumps it says Hose connection (suction side) Ø17mm (3/4") and Hose connection (pressure side) Ø13mm (1/2") so do i have to put in one bulkhead 3/4 and one bulkhead 1/2 or just put two bulkheads of 3/4 in would this be ok 20m pressure pipe

so 25m pressure pipe for my loop pumps and 32m for my overflow, the pipe i got yesterday was the wrong one so will get some piping tomorrow

OK got some plumbing bits today Union Clips, some Selleys Glass Silicone, got to get some pressure pipe tomorrow for my loop pumps what size to get if anyone can help, using Eheim 1250s had to buy a new drill today to as brianemone burned my last one so there goes another 465$ out of the misses account

went into pet world on thursday was talking to Murry (the owner) i said to him have you just cleaned your tanks?? coz the algae has almost disappeared from last time i was in here. the answer was no the secret, Vodka 1m to 100ltrs he even put a dose in went i was there has anyone else heard this (brianemone, pies,fay, cracker, tel, reef, ) he has all sorts of corals and fish in the tanks too

picked up my egg crates today big thanks to brianemone (again ) even tho he fell over when he got the bill :oops:

OK just a quick update started to fill in the top around the tank, starting to come together now been up in the loft to put some more noggins in so all sweet got another resin top from work today try and get all fitted before the weeks out might fill in the side of the tank now(sorry brianemone) misses said she would buy me something for the tank if i do this, so protein skimmer paid for
