Albino galore

Featured Replies

Well I am pretty excited, will be getting my albino axolotl group and my albino guppy group soon. That should keep me happy for a while :)

Would you please explain the attraction of albino fish?

Most of us like fish for their colours and patterns but there is a good number who prefer the albinos.

Just curious 8)

I like the fact that they are different; the genetics aspect is fascinating to me. I use to breed the albino bristle noses and have also had other albino axolotls breed for me. They are colourful in their own way, just not very varied lol

Who else is into their albino fish???

Never thought of it that way. I am a little put off by being able to see their insides so clearly, else they are probably ok :happy2:

Ive got 'Snow Whites' or Pseudotropheus Socolofi (albino). They are a very active part of my African tank. And are prolific breeders, so if you fancy trying africans let me know!

Heres one of the mummys :P

No fish is for everyone, its a good thing they come in so many shapes and sizes (and colours).

I remember the albino kids at school being a bit sickly etc. But these little fellas have the best grow out rate of anything I've bred so far.
