hay there pnfishguy and welcome :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

i think first u need to decide what type of fish u like cichlids, plecos, killis.......

That site also has lots of errors Sharn. Try looking up convicts then have a look at what they suggest are compatible species

Do the same with platys

As someone on another forum said...nice idea but useless as the data is wrong.

caryl- totally agree but i always look at pictures of fish before i decide what fish i like, once i see a fish then i do the research and id hope thats what others would do too :D

Hey pnfishguy!

A warm welcome to the forums from us too :D

Is this going to be your very first tropical tank (ie wam water)? If yes, I'd recommend starting off with Guppies or Platties or a combination of both. They are a great starter fish :) I would also add a pleco or a bristlenose to keep the glass clean ;)

After all these years of fishkeeping we still enjoy them :D

HTH :)

And a big welcome! To this great site  :bounce:

So, have you decided on what fishies you'll be getting?

Take care & have fun,
